  1. What does the elaztech do to them?
  2. What did it do to the trays?
  3. Ya I am thinking about getting a hard tackle box like this one. I have soft one right now and I believe I’d like everything open instead of in a plastic utility box. They have these for $20 at Walmart.
  4. I’m just curious if you all keep your soft baits in the bag or put them in tackle box or utility box for easy access and storage? I understand the importance of keeping them in bags where they have liquid inside for smell and flavor, but ones that have nothing on them? Such as these...
  5. Whatever you may fish with, fish with confidence and you will bring in more fish!
  6. How about this stuff? Anyone tried it? You get quite a bit for the price.
  7. I wouldn’t mind some 8# as you know the lighter the line the easier it is to cast.
  8. So the XL Smooth Cast in the red box may be more versatile for spinning and bait casting gear. It's easier to get a 6 or 8# test in the XL smooth cast vs big game.
  9. Ya I had a 1/4 ounce jig head and small grub. I put a tube and 1/4 ounce tube jig and that made a complete difference. It's amazing how much those plastic lures weigh. I should have known since I can cast weightless flukes with a baitcaster with no issues. I was able to skip this lure off the pavement with no issues and casting had some significant distance without trying all that too hard.
  10. Man everyone is all about this stuff. I may have to try it out or the Berkley Trilene XL smooth casting line. How does the Big Game hold up for memory? Comparable to similar market price mono.
  11. I enjoy bassresource and informative fisherman. Those 2 are great instructional videos. I also like videos on lures and what they mix and match them with as far as jigs or line setup.
  12. I really like this stuff. It seems to cast really well.
  13. For me when my breaks are too much then I can’t cant straight. It always goes left.
  14. Ok. I have some real magic I been spraying on my lines since this last summer when I was introduced to it. Hopefully this stuff is decent enough for that. Also so I changed my line out. The 10# mono stuff was too cheap and thick for the reel. This new stuff seems to be working great.
  15. @NYWayfarer did you have these spooled on baitcaster? I just spooled the 10# on baitcaster and when I retrieve my lure the line does not get very tight back on the spool. Is that a line issue? I mean my lure is 1/4 oz jig head and its catching some grass as I am practicing in the yard so it has some tension on it. It just seems very stiff. I mean it's $3
  16. Just to get everyone's opinion on this. If you are casting with a baitcaster and adjusting the spool tension and the breaks to the point of no backlash but when reeling the line in it tends to not get tight on the spool or just feels loose what may be the problem? The line to big for the spool? The line too stiff?
  17. @volzfan59 I figured you liked this stuff.. lol
  18. I put this stuff in 10# on my baitcast reel to try it out in the backyard. Ummmm ya... this stuff is pretty thick and doesn’t spool very well. I guess I can’t complain because it was $2 at Walmart lol.
  19. got a picture of your lure set up by chance?
  20. Upload the picture on paint and shrink it. That would be my recommendation.
  21. Ya, there is something that feels good about having new line often. I wouldn't feel to bad stripping this and putting new line on every now and then.
  22. That's because it just changed. the last week it was no minimum. I was a day or two late posting this. sorry folks. Here is what I had on my phone yesterday. I still had the website pulled up. It looks like it has ended.
  23. Just FYI. Bass Pro currently offering free 2 day shipping with no minimum purchase necessary. Better take advantage!
  24. Right now bass pro is offering free 2 day shipping and no minimum requirement. Take advantage.
