  1. I spent three days at Powell Park Tuesday thru Friday morning. Water was 10' over pool. Powell ramp was usable but had to back out into water about 20 feet. Water is way up into the trees and then alot more. I found a good bite on crankbaits outside the trees lakeside. Caught about 20 that way. My wife caught her best yet at 9lbs on a Yum finger watermelon red. My best 2 were a 6 and a 4 on cranks. Water was pretty dirty from farmers north, but more clear five fingers and west.

  3. Thanks for the reply. I will be @ Powell next Tuesday thru Thursday. Maybe this front will get em on the shad better. Shad, creek bends, ledges, drains, frogs, cranks, two weeks ago got nada for me and friends. The few I found were dinks in 8-10' hydrilla. I'll keep looking, at least now I know there is a bite offshore!
  4. The last few weeks several persons, including myself, are having a hard time finding a bite of any kind. All of us normally have no problem finding fish. We all normally do well this time of year. Talk at the ramp states the same. Anyone care to venture what is happening?
  5. Thanks for the info!
  6. I will be on Rayburn this weekend. 1st time since October. Anyone have a current pattern.
  7. A co-worker showed me a pic of a very nice limit caught out of San Augustine Park last weekend. Said he caught about 30 fishing grassy banks. Haven't heard about any deep.
  8. Thanks for the pics. I have got to go see that. I'm a dinosaur, I don't do fakebook.
  9. Would some of you care to post a few pics of the lake while it's low for those of us that are not able to get there?
  10. Thanks Amateur Hour . I am finally having success finding them and having faith in what I'm seeing on the unit. Pics like that help.
  11. The Corp of Engineer site shows all but one ramp closed. Anyone know of a place to launch?
