  1. haha boy I feel like a dope!
  2. I'll take $25 worth of the Nat (Natural I assume) color is someone else or a few of us are willing to split the other costs. I am from NEPA not too far from the Poconos so let me know.
  3. My most expensive combo is my Shimano Calais 200 and Loomis Mossyback 803. Together they are worth a retail $530. Most of my reels though I did not get for retail...just got really good deals: Chronarch 100SF retail $229.99 for $174.99 Calais 200 retail $329.99 for $249.99 Calais 100A retail $389.99 for $150.00 (BEST DEAL) Calcutta TE 100GT retail $329.99 for $199.99 (SECOND BEST DEAL) Revo SC retail $139.99 for $79.99 Stradic 2000FG retail $114.99 for $88.00 All reels were NEW when purchased except the 100A...which was in excellent condition. It pays to look around!!! I also got many of my rods on a discounted price as well! Good fishin'!
  4. I finally got around to updating my original lineup after buying and selling some stuff...
  5. I want to buy more to match these jigheads...and I forget the name of the grub and like the profile. Thanks.
  6. Haven't had a chance to use them yet. The lakes still have ice up here in PA. Maybe in about a month or so.
  7. And the Perch!
  8. Yesterday was a good day! I came home from work to my samples from Koppers Fishing Tackle and got the three following baits as well as some catalogs to pass out and such. I have attached three pics of the baits I got: These are seriously the most realistic baits I have seen. I don't have prices yet but they do have a website.
  9. Looks like we will see another REVO on the market soon! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zp52qOZXWog

The only thing with the Cabela's link is they are 5 packs...not the 10 packs that usually run $6.99...so $2.99 or whatever plus shipping isn't really that big of a deal at least to me. Now if the 10 pack was on sale for that price, I would be buying a heck of a lot of them. I really like the Ika though and the Bass Boys link is pretty good too. I like Plum Crazy and Rootbeer Pepper.
  11. What ever happened to Orlando Wilson? He used to have a show I would watch back on TNN Outdoors in the 1990s and I even looked up info on him and can't find out anything. Any info would be great. Thanks.
  12. What is your favorite Shimano baitcaster? Please don't just vote on just looks but your overall use of the reel, durability, and such. Thanks.
  13. The best deals that I have gotten are: St. Croix Legend Elite from Reed's (wasn't supposed to be on sale but was) originally $310 bought for $198. Another Legend Elite (green blank) on closeout for $150 from $300! Shimano Calais 100A: excellent condition. Originally $389.99 bought for $150 even. Shimano Calcutta TE-100GT: NEW for $199.99 discounted from $329.99. Falcon Expert Rod: Originally $169.99 bought for $99.99. Lastly the best deal of all: Shimano Calais CL-200: ordered over the phone from an out of state Gander Mountain store...they took my address but the girl forgot to get my credit card...the reel showed up FOR FREE a few days later. I didn't have the heart to keep it so I called back up and they gave it to me for HALF of retail price! See, it pays to be honest sometimes...now go ahead and tell me I'm nuts but hey I believe in good karma!
  14. Just some pics I found on another site of a new Japanese Shimano Metanium (Core) with the DC system for 2008!
  15. I am definitely up to fishing in the Spring with some local anglers. Too bad we are supposed to get more snow tonight! I thought I was the only one who fished in Throop! haha j/k
  16. Recently (as in the last 2 weeks), I purchased a pretty much like new Shimano Calais 100A (with oil, accessories, and reel cover, but NO box (see other post in WANTED section)) for $150. This reel as I am sure, as most of you know, retails for $389.99. I also recently purchased a BPS Pro Finesse rod (no criticism with BPS, it really is a nice rod!) that is 6'3" and features Fuji SiC guides for $74.99 from $99.99 (with a gift card courtesy of Xmas). I got the total combo for around $250 give or take. Did I do well? I feel that this is one of the best deals that I am come across. The other deal of the day I got was just as good, possibly better. Cabela's Hamburg was closing out the Oakley Fives 3.0 Polarized from $135.00 to $99.88 (only at the Hamburg store, not Cabela's national). I had a $20 dollar coupon and $63.00 worth of built up credit. So I got my Oakley's for less than $17!!! Let's just say that my day (hitting the BPS in Harrisburg, PA and the Cabela's in Hamburg, PA) was very productive! Let's hear some good deals that all of you got over the holidays! I hope all of you have a happy and safe New Years!
  17. Some of the places I fish are: Prompton, Lake Ariel, Wallenpaupack, Lake Henry, Lackawanna State Park, Ford's Pond, Fairview Lake, Susquehanna River, etc. Where is South Scranton did you grow up? My father grew up on Hemlock Street and my uncle still lives on that street as well.
  18. Just wondering if anyone remembers these rods. I just listed one on eBay and wanted some more info on these. I remember them going for about $225 new and wondered what became of them. Thanks.
  19. I think I may come down too! I am from the Scranton area.
  20. Mine would be: Shimano Chronarch 100SF G. Loomis MBR783C IMX 1. 3/8oz. Any brand/color matched with a Netbait Paca Chunk trailer 2. 1/4oz. Spinnerbait (Tandem) in white (any brand) 3. Bandit 200 Series (any color) 4. Wacky Worm Whacko (Senko copy) (any of the dark brown/green colors) (or substitute Senko type bait for a regular old plastic worm) 5. Yo Zuri Crystal Pop
  21. I'm from Throop...actually pronounced "Troop." I am 5-10 minutes from Archbald!
