Berkley Frenzy vs. LC pointer 78
Go to the Jann's Netcraft website and take a look at the bait called the "Springer." It IS a Lucky Craft Pointer copy (located in lure bodies section). They are really nice and cheap (like $3). The colors also match the LC colors!

Heavy Cover spinnerbaits...
I placed an order with Heavycover.com spinnerbaits on 12/8/07 and was looking to find the status of my order. I checked their website and now it says it won't re-open until early 2008. My question is, my order is pretty much in limbo and I need a contact number to check when it will be fulfilled. Can anyone either PM me or post the contact number here. Thanks.

Oakley Flak Jacket and Flak Jacket XLJ
Has anyone used these glasses? I am a guy with a medium face and am looking into a pair of grey polarized lens to double as fishing/everyday lenses. I already have amber/brown lenses for sight fishing, but am looking into Oakley grey polarized lenses. My core review
I wish they would make an aluminum version of the Core...same color scheme and everything! And then a 6'3" Cumara to go with it!

Bass Pro XPS Pro Finesse casting rods...
Anyone have any experience with these rods? They have SiC guides on them and the price seems pretty nice. I am looking at the 6'3" casting rod for medium range all around duty. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Oakley FIVES 3.0 Polarized...anyone have these?
Anyone use these Oakley's...I might get a pair of them. I have a medium sized face so do you think they would fit? I am going to get the Black frame with Grey lenses. http://oakley.com/pd/3171

40% off most St. Croix @ Reedssports....
FOR SALE: EC66MF...I bought this rod from the Reed's Sporting Goods sale before they took the Legend Elite's off due to a mistake in pricing. I got this rod shipped for around $210 with the shipping from them (original price was $320 plus shipping). I thought these rods had the split grips. I do not need another rod with a straight handle grip so someone else can benefit from this sale. I will sell the rod for $215 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48 so I don't lose out on the shipping. The rod comes with the original St. Croix rod sleeve and will be shipped in the same tube that was sent by Reed's. Again, I got this rod YESTERDAY in the mail and am selling it today. I hope someone will enjoy this rod! *Please note, I did not get free shipping on this rod as I got it late in the sale and the free shipping already stopped.

Chronarch SF question...
Ever since I got my Chronarch SF back in 2001, I have noticed that when there is no line on the reel and I reel the handle, there is a metallic sound to the spool. I have seen this on other Chronarch SF's and on other models as well, such as the now discontinued Chronarch 100Mg and even on the Calcutta TE reels. What exactly is this noise? The bearings? It is almost like a pinging sound...once line is on the reels it disappears and my reel performs flawlessly (it is my favorite reel).

Shimano Stradic ST-2000FG...
Does anyone know any information on this reel? I just won one on eBay for $80 and it looks really great. This reel is the one two series before the newly introduced one. Cabela's recently closed out the FH series for the new FI, but this I think is from 2001 or so. Can anyone confirm this. It has a wooden handle knob instead of rubber, is white with gold accents, and is the 2000 size. Any word on performance and how this 2000 size can compare to the 2500? I am sure this reel is not on par with the latest version but at half the price, figure I might have gotten a good deal! Thanks for any and all info.

Rapala DT Fat 3
Cabela's has them...I got one for my dad there about 2 weeks ago or so and he loves it!!!

Re: Anyone know this Smithwick Shallow Crank???
I was simply asking if the Bo Jack was vintage...not implying that it was. I had never seen one before and now it seems I am getting labeled as something negative. And I hope that is not the case. I simply posted about the lure, got some responses and even some price offers, but didn't ask any more. Thank you for the original responses about what the lure was and the history/availability of it.

Other uses for Mossyback besides jigs and worms...
I have a Mossyback 803C and was wondering what other fishing techniques I could use the rod for other than worms, jigs, senkos...would this make an okay spinnerbait rod?...I tend to not like to moderate action rods and prefer the crisper fast actions. What do all of you use yours for besides the intended specific purpose. Thanks.

P-Line Halo
I like my 12 lb. test...I have mine on a Revo SC matched to a 6' Falcon Expert MH. Use the rod for Senkos, small spinnerbaits, etc...very versatile and nice!

Mann's 30+ crankbait...
Anyone use the Mann's 30+ crankbait? I bought one in natural craw color and never used it (still in the box) and now have it up on eBay. Did they discontinue the bait...I heard these bad boys really dig deep in the water...as in 45ft. on a troll. Should I keep the bait or keep it up for auction? Thanks and let me know.

Abu Garcia Revo SC at Cabelas
Supposedly the model is a Cabela's exclusive, but I heard it is also available in Japan.

Does anyone make a Fat Ika copy???
I see so many Senko knock off's but would love to find a link to buy some Fat Ika copies...anyone know of anyone. Thanks.

I got the St. Croix deal of the century!
Back about 2 or 3 years ago...I got a 6'6" St. Croix Legend Elite for $150 marked down from $300...now that was a deal...and it was at my local Gander Mountain. It was the older green blank that was being phased out for the current brown blank rod now.

Pumpkinseed Sunfish colored crankbaits...
I always see baits painted in Bluefill or "Bream" (Red-Eared Sunfish), but never see one painted in Pumpkinseed...why is that I wonder?...here in PA where I fish (and in NY) it seems most lakes/rivers have more Pumpkinseeds than other sunfish about 2:1 with Bluegill...and the bass have to be eating them...I think I am going to have a custom lure painted in Pumpkinseed sunfish and just wanted to know your opinions as to why this color might not be used as much. Thanks.

Nice steal at cabelas.
I got one too...just waiting for it to arrive. I think I am going to put mine on 6' MH Falcon Expert.
