tried that already.

I have used fluorocarbon before and have not had this problem. Just re strung a spinning reel and keep getting a bird nest like a baitcaster. What do I do to stop this? I let the line out after second time behind the boat but this did not help. Suggestions

like everyone else use a depth finder constantly. have trouble seeing screen in heavy sunlight.What is preferred lense color to help see screen better.?? Thanks

been a while since i fished the lake but caught bass and walleye i believe its the west side where the dam is.

started using black crankbaits this year with good luck so experimented with sprayed black blades on sone spinnerbaits. White and chartruse skirt with black blades has had some success mostly on cloudy days. Most water where i have fished this summer has been muddy or stained also. who can explain it, i cant.

RoLo Roger what do you get for approximate distance. maybe i am expecting to much. I like the setup. thought i would got to side yard and see what it actually is getting

throwing a yum dinger @ 10grms or 0.35274 ounces so with 1/8 weight im in the pole weight specs. . Dobyns said this rod was what i needed for grass cover but maybe not.

using senko weighted and not weighted mostly 1/8 oz weights just looked at rod and says 1/4 to 1 oz that seems pretty heavy to me for grass

have upgraded rods and reels to better stuff now that retired. Question is I now have a Dobyns sa704 sf med /heavy with a c14+ 2500. Love this setup but throwing distance is unsatisfactory in my opinion. started using 10lb braid last year on different reel and worked great. this reel distance is lacking. i am fishing alot of weeds and lily pad shorelines. Any suggestions to get more distance? same with new baitcaster. am constantly adjusting breaks etc but distance is lacking. Is it the braid or to heavyof a pole. have a old sahara 2500 i can throw a mile

Hey guys I was able to get the hot deal on the Bps stradic c14+ 2500hg today. going to put it on a Dobyns SA 704sf 7' med/hvy fast action rod. what size line do you guys recommend. Was using 10lb braid currently. Fish alot of thick grass, lily pad shorelines along with brush piles> used alot of yum dingers and neds on it now but open to suggestions. Would 30 lb power pro be to heavy of line and over kill on a spinning reel? what would you guys use. lb line and kind{braid,mono. floro} thanks

need to redue boat trailer bearings. have done before but not confident of my limited skills as I plan on going longer distances this summer.Question is -- is it ok to use the pre greased hubs where you just have to replace it all? Are these low quality. any one use them at all? i use the bearing buddies

sounds dumb but i use a regular old knot and a drop of super glue that i use t0 hold plastics to hooks.
