a smoke bomb worked for me. leave cover on ,set bomb in boat and cover . leave an hour or so uncover and lay cover upside down to air out. got my bomb from local bug killer company

Bought a lews mb baitcaster during the holiday sales and looking for advice on a rod. whether a medium, med heavy or what. Thinking mostly for rattle traps, spinnerbaits chatterbaits etc. have one of each and a couple of older pistol grips. anybody use these still? under 150 medium or med heavy?

I use astringent deep cleaning cleanse from walmart. its in the makeup departmant bottom shelf. Ask the girls or the wife she will know

Have a Dicks 50 miles from us. fishing department is small. I think most shopped at for other sports. The flash sales they have are a joke just like the fishing department. Same stuff same price over and over

large mouth 5 inch yum dinger black and blue laminate wakey was best this year but hook most anyway worked also

once fishing my favorite lake which everyone gets snags in i got caught up on one for the third time. I wasnt going to lose this one. A guy in a boat next to me saw i was not giving up, had a lure retriever better than mine. after several trys we thought his hung up but up came the snag, a tree branch with 5 good lures and 1 rusty one, one being one of his. being a sport i gave him his back for helping me.

In the future, BPS and Cabelas will be another Dicks Sporting goods . I bought 2 reels online this month on sale because they dont carry enough variety. To bad I shopped there alot in the past

I got a7 foot doybins med heavy this summer that worked great. I fish lakes with alot of lily pads and grass though. A medium would work for you i would think if you dont fish heavy cover. i use 10 lb braid

obviously no one on here orders rods from Dicks after reading all the bad things about them. If getting them for free maybe but if not cant feel sorry for broken rods. Shame on them that are buying rods frome them

i have an order the same way. ordered another order from Bass Pro within minutes of each other and got the Bass Pro box 2 days ago by FEDEx. Got to love USPO pony express

Always looking for a deal but a little cheap most times. Does anyone use a pflueger xt baitcaster and do you like them? have several spinners and like them but didnt know they had baitcasters

Went to Bass Pro to look at baitcasters and the old guy suggests to everyone he talks to get a left retrieve reel. I currently use right and use left on a spinning reel. Whats your guys opinion or what do you use

I watched a guy this summer casting and spinning to trees along the shore. He was on the spot 9 out of 10 times. When leaving i asked him about his casting and he said it was all in the wrist. I thought I was going to die laughing but he was serious.we went to the bank and he cast 2 time with each casting and spinning telling me first what and where he was throwing at. Hit all 4 times within 6 inches.

I think the future trend for Bass Pro will be private label and smaller discounts.stopped at my closest one 60 miles away to look at reels as i need to replace a couple hopefully with future sales. This year most of my money went to online rather than BassPro as they were out the first day of spring sale and did not restock. Asked several questions to the only guy there and he knows less about reels than i do
