  1. Someone has to keep the industry going
  2. Not trying to mean or anything or trying to tell ya how to run a bass boat I know that is considered a splash box but you are supposed to slow down first so that the water doesn’t rush over the transom kinda hard to explain slow down then kinda feather engine not just pull up to a spot and shift into neutral and kill the engine
  3. You are right it definitely ain’t about how much you spend it’s about what fits you and works well for you I have a 16 ft Lund 1625 with 60hp fits me perfect I can store it easily I can take it anywhere I even fish Lake Michigan with it wind permitting lol some call my boat a walleye boat but I’ve caught more bass in that boat than anything I’m a multi species fisherman I even have a set up to use downriggers for trolling for coho try that with a bass boat ha so I all comes down to what works for you and what your willing to spend I’m not willing to spend 80k on a ranger my 20k Lund works for me Oh and by the way my Lund came from factory pre wire for 24 volt trolling motor but I have a minkotta pd 55 12 v Crest liner and Lund are made in factory right next to each other opened by same company
  4. Crestliner ask John Cox why
  5. To me even if it’s dinks or even skunked. any time on the water is golden because of the lack of time I get, I treasure that time.

  7. I would use copoly it's a versatile line for all that you wanna do with it
  8. I have been in maintenance for over 30 + years and yes anytime you change bearings you MUST change the races because the old bearings were seated to that race even though you don’t see any damage there is BigAngus is spot on
  9. I have this trolling motor you speak of. if it wouldn’t have came already installed on my boat I would have gotten something else It stinks for mounting transducer on it. the foot pedal is on a long cable but foot pedal sucks the deploy they call easy sucks it’s hard to yank the thing back up into place. heck no I wouldn’t use it to get the boat back on the trailer . it is good on the battery I can tool around all day. I’m considering getting the remote control option for mine . It’s 135 bucks
  10. Agree pline good bang for the buck it’s good stuff I’ve pulled my boat across the river against the current with 12lbs test when getting snagged on something lol
