Got my turkey this morning!!
Pond Pro turkey hunting is tough if a turkey had a good sense of smell i dont think u could kill them. they can hear extremeley well and can see a grasshopper jump 100 yards away the worst part is season is during mosquito season and its hard not to move with thousands of those boogers swarming around you and as that one guy asked did u call it yourself and if so what type of call did u use i use a box call to locate them and keep them excited and when i get set up i use just my mouth i am pretty good at it.

bowfin or blackfish
bowfin or mudfish as we georgians call them are actually fun to catch just not fun to take off the hook cuz they are slimy and flounce around too much. i actually fish for them in the satilla river i will catch a bunch of little perch and throw them in the middle on a bigger reel and just have fun catching big mudfish and gar. my biggest bowfin is 14lbs the georgia record is a little over 18lbs and my biggest gar was almost 4ft long. anyone know their snakes
Its a banded water snake i see them all the time in georgia and i enjoy catching them because i like snakes some people confuse these snakes with cottonmouths i have actually had cottonmouths chase me along a creek edge before. and one time me and a cousin were fishing at a culver pipe and i was sitting on it and i looked down and there was about a 3 and a half 4 foot cottonmouth and all we had was my bow so i put two arrows in him and then i hooked him and tossed him on the bank then i beat the heck out of him with a stick.as u can see i dont like cottonmouths. i go all the time usually once a week if i can and it doesnt really hurt that bad unless the people have souped up guns using angel dust and they are at point blank range. i just advise one thing dont get shot around your armpit that is the worst place to get shot besides your nuts.yeah but it doesnt hurt that bad i just have to wear a chest protector on my left side because of my heart problem i cant take blows like that to the heart. GBF let me know how it goes i really enjoy it.

Bad News Guys
just got home from school and found out that the fire in brantley is still burning here is the information i can give u. In Brantley County, one of two fires still burning threatened Nahunta Monday night, causing a number of homes to be evacuated. Frank Sorrells of the Georgia Forestry Service said the fire that started in the Kneeknocker Swamp moved close to the homes. He said the fire has burned about 2,000 acres. Georgia Forestry forest ranger Nickie Jordan said the other Brantley County fire that began Thursday in the Fort Mudge Road area has burned 864 acres. Crews from counties in surrounding areas are working all three fires. Firefighters in Southeast Georgia continued through the 10 p.m. hour, battling two large brush fires. According to authorities, evacuations are continuing to be ordered as the result of the fast-moving fires. Sheriff's department officials said several neighborhoods are in danger. Authorities reported that all of the area's firefighting divisions were called to battle the brush fires alongside the Georgia Department of Forestry. Helicopters have also been involved in the firefighting efforts. At about 6 p.m. one of the two fires was threatening downtown Nahunta, according to area journalist Bobby Thomas. He reported that residents who live in the area were seen preparing to evacuate and get out of the fire's path, and that smoke from the flames greatly limited visibility in several places on Highway 301. Mandatory evacuations in Ware County were ordered for people in the area from Valdosta Highway south to Swamp Road and for those who live between Suwannee Chapel Road in Manor, Ga., and the city limits of Waycross. "Everyone from U.S. Highway 84 -- we call it the Valdosta Highway -- between there and Swamp Road and also between the city limits of Waycross and Suwannee Chapel Road in Manor, Ga. Everyone in that area needs to evacuate, if they have not already," Ware County spokesman James Ginn said at 10 p.m. "Anyone in the surrounding areas should keep a diligent eye on the conditions because we may have to evacuate them as well." The shelter for Ware County evacuees is Waycross Middle School. Channel 4's Scott Johnson reported that officials were expecting the wind to die down in the area at about midnight, which would be helpful for firefighters. Nonetheless, the Ware County Board of Education announced Monday night that it has canceled school on Tuesday for all students. However, teachers and staff should report to their schools. Ruskin Elementary School teachers and staff are asked to report to Waycross Middle School. A mandatory evacuation was also ordered for those along a 4-mile stretch of Knox Street northwest of Nahunta, Ga. The fire in Brantley County burned between 1,600 to 2,000 acres land. Fortunately, officials there told Channel 4 most of the fire was under control as of 10 p.m., and that they were considering lifting the evacuation and allowing people to return to their homes. The shelter for Brantley County evacuees is at Nahunta Elementary School.

Bad News Guys
as some of you georgia natives know my old hometown Nahunta,Georgia is on fire right now. my old house is burnt to the ground and the beautiful pond full of fish beside it is devastated. the fire has burnt many acres of swampland that was a hunting club that my family founded and people are bieng evacuated. and just west of us in waycross georgia another fire is blazing their. there are atleast 7 counties working the nahunta fire with at least 4 choppers and over 3,000 voluntire fire fighters and county fire fighters.i also cannot reach my mother who lives very close to where the fire is burning and also my dad lives near it and i cannot reach either of them. i know of two people who are dead and many homes have been destroyed. my prayers are with everybody back home in georgia and hopefully everyone else will pray for them too and also my brother in laws mom her sister which is her only living relative was murdered today in ohio by her stepson. and also new york is flooding so maybe everyone will help these people by praying for them.God Bless Everyone
