Why having lockjaws in April/May?
Welcome to Bassresource for starters, I'm in the same boat with you I got double skunked on the past two outings but managed to lose 2 this past Sunday. A bedding female picked up my beaver but ripped the claws off, do you fish pressured bodies of water? what's the water clarity and temperature been like? My best advice since I'm dealing with the same issue right now is slow down and go finesse. Here in NJ/NY water temp is at a solid 50 and at my pond here the bass are starting to cruise a bit and find beds. Have the fish been doing that down there? since MD is a bit below I would imagine it would be slightly warmer in water temp?

Wanna give Tungsten a shot.
Hey BR, Very interested in picking up some tungsten sinkers to replace my aging led weights I have left over from last year. can somebody recommend brands for me? something that isn't outrageously overpriced but something that has quality and sensitivity to it, I also don't fish very deep bodies of water so what would be a good weight size I could get away with for pitching and flipping with a baitcaster? 1/4th maybe? look forward to the responses!

How do Bass react to sudden warm temps?
I noticed that about the North East, as a kid I always remembered bass spawning as late as june, I was guilty of catching them on beds but never saw any cruisers or females until around memorial day weekend, I still haven't caught my first bass of the season yet. Probably won't get one until the later half of the month. Would a curly tail Grub work in that aspect?

How do Bass react to sudden warm temps?
Bank fishing, it's a park pond with a fountain in the middle, not only does it recieve anglers fishing but cormorants eat fish there often, in the summer time they've gone crazy for T rigs and senkos.

How do Bass react to sudden warm temps?
Went back to the pond today and got skunked hard, water temps were a solid 50 and a kid next to me managed to get one on a spinnerbait, tried spinnerbaits and finesse jigs, how do I catch these fish in this low water temp lol?

How do Bass react to sudden warm temps?
Hey BR, Today I went on my first Post Pandemic Fishing trip, a neighborhood pond here in NY that is quite pressured, one thing I noticed is that since we've had high temps in the 70s for the past two days many bait fish such as bream and cruising bass have started to appear along the bank I couldn't get the water temp but it was still pretty cold, for the week coming up the air temp is supposed to drop down into the 50s and 60s again. How do Bass react to these short periods of warmer weather after it cools? Do they continue with the spawn? Or do they retreat back to winter mode?

Good 3600 size box to store jigs?
Title really says it all I have enough jigs to fit into their own 3600 box, (casting, football, vibrating) in different colors, they shared an old bass mafia box that I also stored some of my terminal tackle in, anyone have suggestions? thanks. :)

Is the bitsy flip the same compact size as the Bug?

A choice of Jigs, decisions decisions...
Yeah that's what I've been doing. They still don't really want anything to do with it, but the last time I went fishing was a month ago hahaha. The water temps were around 45 and the ponds I fish are very pressured.

A choice of Jigs, decisions decisions...
I've been throwing some 3/8th sized jigs recently specifically the Terminator Pro Series flipping jig, they don't want nothing to do with that so I'm investing into downsizing lol
-
A choice of Jigs, decisions decisions...
The pressured ponds I fish don't have very big bass. 75% are either 1/2lb or below. There's definitely some 3lbs to 4lbs in there but the likelihood of catching one is very low.

Do they sell finesse skirts? that's what I was referring too lol

I'll check those trailers out, how has the fishing been down in south jersey? up here in Bergen we haven't been able to fish anywhere due to quarantine
-
A choice of Jigs, decisions decisions...
what would be a good skirt for that? What would be a good trailer for the bitsy bug?

Can you please send me a link to the sniper jigs? I've been searching sieberts and couldn't find them! Thanks!!
