  1. Bass pro has low profile seats with cushions, same seats you'd put on a bass boat. If you need a link just let me know.
  2. I think this is Cabelas version of pushing the date back. Or the different dates might be for the specific boat and time we individually ordered it, I don't know if I ordered mine before you but that might be how it works, this whole situation is very confusing and I'm honestly getting annoyed at being told different things by these people on the phone and emails, first it was June 2nd, then the 15th, now the 18th I was told this morning and now you got told the 22nd... What could he happening and I was told this on the phone today is that Pelican is filling out the backorderes from certain time periods, maybe the people who were first to order theirs got the boats shipped to them on the 2nd, then Pelican got the next batch in on the 15th. Now the 18th and 22nd might be more batches of boats, I was also told that since the country is reopening the batches are coming in quicker and the boats weren't essential. I know this might sound crazy but it could be how they're doing this.
  3. Tracking info comes usually 24 hours after shipping. I ordered some baits from bass pro and the same thing happened. Keep us posted!
  4. You're gonna get your boat, read the post I made above I spoke to cabelas customer service today and also asked about Bass Pro since they're the same company.
  5. LISTEN UP CABELA GUYS: BACKORDER DATE IS THE 18TH. JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF YOU ORDERED BEFORE THE OUT OF STOCK DATE 90% CHANCE YOU'RE GONNA GET YOUR BOAT.... BASS PRO GUYS I ALSO ASKED, IF YOU ORDERED AFTER JUNE 15TH THEY ARE NOW SOLD OUT.. YOUR ORDER WILL BE EITHER DELAYED OR CANCELED...
  6. When did you originally order your boat? Should I order from bass pro instead? I feel like they have better customer service than cabelas.
  7. LOL, I know how you feel RoLo!
  8. I would kill to be in your shoes you have no idea, I would be able to sleep easy knowing after a long wait my boat is on its way lmao
  9. Same here man, especially after a skunk streak, I would take a whole day of catching 3 to 5lbers don't get me wrong but the fact that I have fish biting my lures despite being smaller in size is enough for me.
  10. What's more important when out on the water? Numbers or Size? Would you take a day of catching a couple dozen 1 to 2lbers or rather catch only a handful of bigger fish? I'm personally on the side of catching numbers, even if they're dinks, I love the fight some will have and the fact that i'm figuring out a pattern, only because I'm still somewhat new to this thing and I'm trying to build confidence in Lures I throw. What about you guys?
  11. I second that, the first two hours will make or break you on the water, Always have a backup plan!
  12. Just called cabelas, after a 30 minute wait I was put on the line with a very strange speaking individual named "tony" who almost sounded like a robot, the robot basically told me that cabelas hasn't gotten any word from Pelican about the restock date which is BS and then I was cutt off from the call, almost done deliberately, also what I was told is BS because others on this thread have called Cabelas customer service and they were told different things. If my boat ever comes. It will be the last thing I'll ever buy from these people, horrible customer service, Bass Pro should just sell off cabelas and use the money to expand their brand. Let's be honest here did Cabelas basically tell me to go _______ myself?
  13. Ordered mine May 10th, I agree. This is ridiculous, especially for us cabela guys... been in the dark since the end of may about the status of my boat. No emails or anything.
  14. Yes, but I know someone who was interested in purchasing one, Guess i'll just send him over to bass pro since it's still on their website.
  15. Boat isn't even popping up anymore on cabelas website, any word on when we could possibly see them again?
  16. I'm in my early 20s and worked two part time jobs while taking my college courses. Before COVID-19 I always made sure weekends and two evenings a week were open for me to go fishing, If I could I would definitely go in the mornings, something is just different about morning fishing compared to going in the evening. With me being currently unemployed because of the pandemic I definitely have valued going in the morning more than evenings.
  17. Yes, Sungill can represent many things such as perch and bluegill, I like taking sungill colored worms and dipping them in spike it to get that tail action of a bluegill. I even have some sungill colored chatterbaits I pair with the sungill keitechs. If Sunfish are in your bodies of water try it out!!
  18. Doubt oversold, the boat is probably being sold as a backorder so they can get a count of how many boats need to be made and sent to cabelas then when the order is complete they'll bring it back and get another limit of orders and repeat I guess. IMO
  19. I was a bit worried because cabelas said their boats were currently "out of stock" but I thinks there a limit on how many boats you can buy and that limit is probably how many are gonna be shipped. Edit: I ordered my bass raider on May 10th so my boat will definitely be in this collection that's in route to the warehouse probably yours aswell have no clue the status of the guys who ordered from bass pro.
  20. Thank god man, I just want my boat lmao!!
  21. I second that, S-11 are awesome sunglasses.
  22. Depends on what I'm fishing and what i'm throwing, if it's wood like a laydown or a sunken branch I'll pitch into all the holes I can find then move on, i'm a bank beater so I try to reach for what I can since i'm not on a boat. This guy I caught the other day I was doing what you're talking about, I saw a patch of weeds with some holes in it and I pitched a senko #297 into the whole area about 15 times. First starting with the edges and then working my way inside the weeds.
  23. Rage menace as a jig trailer, that thing just catches fish especially if the tips are dyed in spike it or some other application.
  24. Yes, pink senkos work, I know this is an old thread but after trying out morning dawn roboworms I'm convinced they'll bite bubble gum senkos.
