  2. Oooops my bad...here is a pic.
  3. We had a Gander nearby and they close down about a year ago....it was always empty the times I've visited the store...
  4. Does anyone has tips or tricks on how to remove this special hooks for catfish? I'm having such a hard time removing these particular hooks
  5. With all due respect Oregon Native, this is something that is actually happening in this country from New Jersey to all the way South to the Florida Keys. There is also reports on this problem in the Gulf of Mexico. That has nothing to do with 3rd World Countries...you could be anywhere in the World and probably get this disease with out knowing...the worm example that you are giving it could be also done by a deadly spider, etc... The point is that we are very vulnerable and we need to be alert and informed about this things that could be potentially a very serious disease...stay safe!
  6. Oh ok, thanks for the info... Glad you help the community :D
  7. Is any one here aware of the Killing Bacteria? Cause I saw a report on this and is kind of scary, one of the stories is from a fisherman and he died 2 days later. I don't know much about this but it makes me very worried, because it seems like a very serious disease. I don't fish out in the sea or in the coast at the moment, I just go to lakes or ponds, but still this could also be contaminated due to the heat...any way please let me know your thoughts on this and be careful out there, stay safe... 8. I've been using Trout Magnet with success, very cool!
  9. I've went out and bought a Vicious Fishing Panfish 4LB Test Hi-VIS Yellow, it kind of work (still unsure if this is a good line or not) and use the Mini Mini Trout Magnet Jig with a bobber and I did fish 2 blue gills yesterday...wooohooo!!!
  10. I'm talking about Trout Magnet Jig and the SOS Line which is made by the same company….
  11. Hello, new to fishing on lakes and I've discover this particular Jig to go fish with, but I'm unsure if is necessary to have the Trout Magnet SOS line 2lb or 4lb? Any experts on this particular lure?
  12. I think you have given me the best advise Is so overwhelming when you go to the store cause there are so many different rods and riels is not even funny, makes it confusing when you want to go buy something. I went last night to Academy everything I've pick up in my hand was like I don't know...some of these things on the $50 price range look like very funky and cheap made to me... However I've looked into some the Shakespeare ones and I've really like them, they seem well made and good quality compare to other ones...also Abu Garcia's rods and riels looked descent….but still indecisive Anyway, I will have a trip to Bass Pro Shop today and check them out... Thank you so much for all the info a tips
  13. I have an Academy Sports nearby will check them out thanks!!!
  14. Oh ok, thanks for the info...will check them out.
  15. Both! Yes sorry both of them... I've always used spinning in the past but don't know the difference with the baitcasting since is what I see on YouTube everyone using...
  16. Hello, I was wondering what could be a good fishing rod for a beginner under $100 for fishing bass?
  17. Well, my experience could have been that I'm a rookie lol, I've tried different lures and didn't work out none of them. I've tried a crawbug, then a walleye grub, a cricket and nothing... So I think also the heat doesn't help much, fish hide from the sun and the water was hot when I touched it.
  18. I went out last Sunday evening, it was hot! Didn't catch a thing...
  19. Thank you!!! I haven't catch any bass yet
  20. WOW! That was something, I bet there was a point when frustration kicked in.
  21. When I was a kid the Ocean was my second house, I used to go fishing with just a fishing line with a hook and some weight on it, real fish bate and had a bucket, summer times where the best time. The bucket was filled up in no time, never thought about different bate or different nothing. Life was very simple way back in the days. Today is a different story when you go out to buy fishing stuff is very overwhelming the amount of different things you can choose from and it can get expensive if you don't budget what you need. Even though I have the Cha Ching to buy what ever I want, I just have an inexpensive fishing pole some plastic bate, hooks, etc. And the bucket lol...and is fun times as well! Reminds me of my childhood that is why I came back on board for fishing, the difference is that this time is on lakes because I don't live near the ocean at the moment. Is good to buy cool things for fishing but sometimes you don't need all that...telling you from experience!
  22. New around here so I will add you to my Instagram ?
  23. Thank you everyone
  24. Hello everyone!!! I'm so glad I've found this forum I'm new to bass fishing even though I've been fishing since I was very young at the sea. I've grew up loving to fish and how much excitement it was for me when I was a kid. So now I've trigger the curiosity to fish in lakes since there is tons of lakes and far to get to the sea...yes not a good deal for me cause I love the sea LOL! I need to go back near the sea for sure and I know it will happen in the near future. Anyway, just got me a fishing pole and some bates and I'm been watching some videos on how to catch some Bass Fish. Looking forward to learn and make some friends ?
