I need help with these Owner hooks, couple of questions
I think the difference is how wide the Gap is on those hooks, all the baits you mentioned are fairly skinny so I think the "skinnier" hooks would work best for you.

What Makes For A Good Chatter Bait Rod ?
I don't think it's about setting the hook properly, a sharp open hook should get them either way, my point is that they can bite and let go if they want to before u get the chance to set the hook

What Makes For A Good Chatter Bait Rod ?
Bass can suck in and spit out a lure faster than you can set the hook

What Makes For A Good Chatter Bait Rod ?
I feel that a bait your constantly reeling they will bite and feel instant pressure with braid and will let go before you pull back on them. Or they cant suck the bait in fully with braid not having any atretch at all. Same with crankbaits, you can offset this with a softer rod also.

What Makes For A Good Chatter Bait Rod ?
Fishing a vibrating jig on too light a rod can get exhausting, they really pull against you, it feels like your fighting a small fish constantly lol My dobyns fury 704c seems pretty good to me. It says its heavy but the tip section seems like medium heavy with some backbone. I do use 14lb mono, for vibrating jigs and spinnerbaits i like mono

Soft swimmers- weight or weightless?
If you try to reel them too fast, but thats not the point of a weightless rig IMO. Just slow real them and kill it and let it sink and slow reel it and kill it. To fish faster I like the belly weighted hooks but to be even more weedless and more subtle with a better hookup IMO I use small nail weights in the belly of the keitechs they are made to do this

Am I Using The Right Rod?
I have never tried that line does it have less stretch than normal mono? normally use stren original A couple years ago I broke one of my spinning reels that I had the same one so I took the spool off and filled it up with braid. So I had one spool braid and one with mono and could just switch the spool back and forth, I was walking a lot, doing a lot of bank fishing down the river so it was nice to just carry 1 rod. And it was a medium light so when i wanted to fish small jigs a texas rigs etc. i would use the braid

Am I Using The Right Rod?
In my opinion the power depends on the type of line I'm using if it's braid you can use a lighter rod and if it's mono you might want a little stronger rod. In your case I would use braid to Mono leader, should be perfect for what you plan to do. IMO

Rod Recommendation
I would check out some musky rods, a lot of the musky guys are throwing heavier lures and they tend to use spinning rods more often tham bass fisherman.

And you wonder why they are not accurate
I thought this was a fishing forum?

Why did I buy a Plano Hydro-Flo box?

Your wheelhouse...
Fluke. Little spinner bait. whopperplopper

Swim jigs
believe me they work, do you catch em on a regular swimbait? I think a regular swimbait produces more but I catch bigger ones on a swim jig.

Swim jigs
Swim jigs don't catch fish?

Versatile rod and and reel combo
It seems like your wanting a spinning reel correct? I really like the berkley lightning rod medium actions and a shimano sienna fg. Inexpensive options but ive spent more on other rods and reels and still prefer these

Swim jigs
On a swim jig yeah I always use a trailer. I have used small finesse jigs on bottom with no trailer with good success. even just a grub or a craw will be good. But have had best luck with paddletails
-
Black and blue swim jigs
I'm always surprised by how bass can track a lure in dirty water. They always know whats around them and a paddletail swimbait on your swimjig is enough vibration. Sometimes a chatterbait or spinnerbait can do better, sometimes not. but the only way to know is to try.

Pressure lake
I think the normal size is super fluke is the best its small eneough and it still casts well. I just got some of the smaller superflukes this season instead of the tiny flukes with not hook slot. So im not sure how those are yet, but I'm pretty sure they are good.

Pressure lake
Silent baits. Probably soft plastics. Either fish very erratic for a reaction bite or very slow. Super fluke ftw
-
You can choose only one lure/tactic for the day...
Fluke. You can fish fast or slow, top or bottom its weedless. Get that reaction strike or let it slow fall like a senko. Can even be wacky rigged. Has to be the most versatile bait.
