practicing with a baitcasters over and over, even in the back yard shooting for various targets. and watching bass resource youtube videos

i have 6 baitcasters now with those ceramic bearings... 4 lews, 1 abu garcia and one shimano slx dc. all work great so far, each one did benefit some from ceramic bearings and have had no issues with them. but because of the owners attitude and lack of customer service skills, ill never order from spool speed bearings again. as stated, do not oil ceramic bearings!

im gonna try the small tactical angler clips for square bills and cranks, but im curious as to will this be noticeable to the fish ? everyone puts so much concern in line size and type and colors etc because of visibility etc... but a snap r clip is very noticeable... or maybe im over thinking this? but being able to change a crank bait quickly sure would be nice.

been lurking around on here for awhile! tons of good info and hardly any arguing etc. like alot of online forums. I grew up fishing lake erie and nw ohio ponds and quarries, which i mainly fish now with the free time i have but then life happened and the rods got put away for quite a few years now im in my 30's i decided to get back into it last summer! loving every minute of it but my wallet sure isnt lol. mostly after large mouth and have been reading and watching as much info as i can,which has helped along with just getting out and fishing. and i have been shocked how much the industry has changed and advanced in the last 10 years! again, not good on the wallet lol. for most part i like to read the posts and might chime in here and there or ask a question every so often.

definitely dont recommend spool speed bearings! and if their item is not correct per their description, they will get a attitude about it! i talked to him over the phone and was shocked in the tone and just overall behavior. i did sent pics etc of the issue and was told he would fix this issue but never did properly. and that was after buying 5 sets of reel bearings and a carbon handle. p.s. if you have a curdo or slx dc, their handles wont work even though they argue they will. bocca or hawgtech would be the better option bearing wise
