Wallenpaupack can be very tough. I recommend Fairview lake a few miles down the road, no hp restriction but a speed limit instead. Also blue marsh and beltzville can be fun. Not many other options in eastern pa that I know of with no hp limit

Sheesh that’s a pig, and thankd man. I’m just gonna have to just throw it more, it’s not one of my confidence baits. Is that a zaco trailer?

How are you working the chatter at night, steady retrieve? And a dark color I assume? Can never figure out if I should work it like a jig or steady retrieve

Same thing happened to me man, I had my pb hooked 4 miles deep in state game land. I snagged my lure and bit off the prior cast. picked up my friends rod who wasnt fishing at the time, and hooked the fish on his rod. Of course the line breaks at the knot lesson learned don’t be lazy and retie lol

Fished my cabin in promised land state park. Caught 7, missed like 4. My Hook set game was weak this morning. Biggest was around 2.5. Nothing huge, but pretty consistent action.

Choosing bait to pitch/flip?
I agree, sometimes it’s nice with a light sliding weight if it’s not getting down fast enough or windy.

Choosing bait to pitch/flip?
Senko is a Fat rubber worm, specifically yamamoto I’ve had great luck throwing them on a weighted Texas rig as well

Choosing bait to pitch/flip?
The Title says it all, how does everyone decide which kind of bait to throw between say a senko, beaver, and a craw. Thanks

Yes it was a dumb idea but I only swam a few feet. I’d feel terrible leaving the fish knowing it was still on. Thanks tone. I think I’m gonna try nock from the haycock launch

Which lake is easier to fish with only a trolling motor, nock or marsh creek? Dang hp limit, wanting to hit some new lakes besides BM.

The things we do
The things we do for smallmouth bass. Got wrapped around a log, swam in, hand lined it, and bit the line! Water is still very cold here in pa lol

Crazy they’re eating a buzz bait already. I wouldn’t even have thought to throw one this early with how the weather has been

I can’t seem to ever get on them good there. Bruce has been killing it up there. Best advice I can give is fish the main lake and use your electronics
