Just wanted to thank RedlineRobert for the awesome gift I found in my mailbox. I tried to take a few macro shots but I suck at these without a tripod. A new Mattlures Bluegill hardbait. Freaking sweet!! The colors on this thing just pop and it's realistic as hell. Matt, if you read this, your baits are top notch. Can't wait to see a Stonewall pig swallow this thing in the spring. Thanks again Robert, you rule. Blaine 8-)

I have good success with CCI ammo. Seem to be pretty consistent.

I don't think you will go wrong getting Pflueger, Abu Garcia, Shimano, or Daiwa. All of them have strong points and weaknesses. I use Daiwa.

Ahhh....the Monopoly meltdown. Been there, done that. ;D The wife is actually pretty good at gift selection. I had a bunch of hard to find JDM cranks in my stocking last year. It blew me away how she knew which ones to get. No clue how she found them either because they are only available in Japan.

AJ (pitchinkid) and I are camping this year in his camper. Got it figured on spending about the same amount as Fluke. That is, if there is not another Bass Pro Shops along the way. The BPS in Sevierville hit me up for more than $500.00 on the way to Guntersville :-/ I think this trip is going to be a blast. Y'all think about going. The only trouble I found last year was not enough time in the day for fishing and talking to everyone. You will want to do both. There is always the evenings though.

I would not recommend this at all. The flame does nothing but burn off the excess solvent which will air dry in a few minutes anyway. You can even use compressed air in a small can to help clean and blow out excess solvent. I use industrial strength acetone and a ultrasonic cleaner for bearings but that is just personal preference.
