  1. This says "How to obtain drinking water or plastic can be dated by the cigar-shaped" Pretty random statement... I have a translator on my mouse. Pretty useful when you're on Japanese tackle sites all the time. ;D
  2. Played it two years ago on the PS2. Good game graphics for the PS2. Probably only second to God of War 2. Resident Evil 4 was so 2006.... it was a sick game though. I was sure glad they brought it to the Playstation system. I've only played the first God of War and it has entered my top 5 game list. I would get the second one, but it's hard to go back to the PS2 once you have the Xbox 360. I know what you mean, my PS3 is a newer version and doesn't have backwards capability. God of War 3 to be released in November 09' - I wish it was sooner.
  3. Kistler Rods I have a few of these, like them real well.

  5. What you are doing here is right up my alley. That washer problem being too thick to back the drag all the way off, do you have a belt sander? When I modify Daiwa Pixys turning them into Pixillas, I have the same problem with the drag stack being too thick. I have to sand the Gear Shaft Collar down a little for the sideplate to fit right. It might work... Awesome, keep it up, I want to see more.
  6. Been waiting for that. Thanks
  7. If you are going to be fishing from the shore you might want to concentrate on shallower running cranks due to hang-up issues. Norman and Bandit make reasonable priced cranks and they catch fish very well. Invest in a lure retriever, you will need it eventually.
  8. You might want to check around a little bit before committing to that $190.00 price tag. I think mine were around $90.00. I found them on closeout at a Gander Mountain in Washington, PA. They are Orvis brand waders. Find you a good pair of fleece pants to wear under them, that's the ticket for keeping warm.
  9. You'll definitely want to invest in some waders, preferably chest waders that are neoprene and at least 3mm thick. I have a pair that are 5mm thick for wintertime fly fishing coupled with fleece wader pants. I can stay in the water all day and never feel the cold. Stream temps range about 34-38 degrees here in the winter. Make sure you wear a good PFD and let someone know where you're going.

    Yep! You guessed it.
  11. How do I change a tire on my fishing rod?

LOL, someone stole your signature. Make sure you put the Jaws reference back on there. That was the best one.
  13. Keep AJ away from the beans, I will die a slow death the next day on the boat.
  14. Not quite so bad off eBay. Just a little sting, you'll never feel it. ;D http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270325621158&category=108153&_trksid=p3907.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DSI%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D15%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D54
  15. I think you were dreaming. : BTW, Mods could you move this to the right section please. I need to pay attention and get my head out of my butt before posting in the wrong section. :-[
  16. You would end up with this...a sub 6 oz. JDM finesse machine. http://www.funesaizensen.com/tackle/airdredtune/ Looks like my New Years resolution about not buying any reels isn't going to hold up for very long. Just when you think you're out, they pull you back in.
  17. I got a similar package in the mail today too. Had to fight the wife for it just to get a taste of it. Good stuff, and I'm not dead yet. Rotten bugger also included one of these in the box...http://www.***.com/descpageMEGABHARD-MBANTH.html# A good friend indeed. He knows what JDM tackle does for the soul.
  18. Yep, if you're wanting some killer rpm's on your spool check out Friction Zero grease and oil. The Daiwa oil is a good middle of the road oil to use but I still have to apply it about every two fishing trips for good performance. Also check out The Rocket Fuel line of lubricants. There is a few more but I have not tried those, I hear good things about them also. Gotta go, the game is back on. ;D

I thought they quit making these baits. Here's a link to look at what they normally cost. http://www.ichibantackle.com/showproductdetail.asp?productid=2473&name=PERSIMMON%20SEED%20BIG&manufacturename=VAGABOND
  20. Those were my thoughts. I already reserved the room, so I'm out for a cabin. Now I'm stuffing an envelope and mailing it to Ronnie ;D Alright, another PA guy going!!! LOL As long as you guys are Penn State fans and not Pitt fans, it will be all right.
  21. After you take off the palming side plate there will be a screw under the spool on the handle side. Take that screw out and this will release the side plate. Micro had a diagram that showed this real well.
  22. I only speak from experience during warmer weather, so it may not be the same during winter patterns. During high water levels on the lakes I fish, the action is usually non stop all day. I can pitch a jig in as little as 1 foot of water and get bit. Seems like the follow they smaller fish into the newly flooded cover for an all day feeding frenzy. My best days have been on high water levels, even on the rivers I fish. I should also add that warmer weather to me would be the same lake conditions you listed. Water temps here right now are about 34 degrees.

No, the KVD is strictly water based. It's just like spraying water in the water. Pretty good stuff, one of the few things that actually lives up to the hype.
