  1. In the famous words of Carl Childers, "I'm proud of ye." Did you get the JDM version or the USDM version? Let me know and I will send you some bearings for those knobs to replace the bushings. I ordered a bunch last year from VXB.
  2. Tackle Warehouse also uses an ingenious ordering system that lets you know if the item you want is in stock. Unlike some other places I have ordered from that take your money and then tell you the item is back ordered. That burns me up. >
  3. I picked up the JDM version last fall and really like it. I wonder if the US version has bearing supported knobs on the handle? The other U.S. version Zillions do not have this feature, at least they didn't when first released.
  4. Perfect. It sounds like a good day to go around and hit the Waypoint button. lol That's exactly what I was thinking.
  5. I think he was a fisheries biologist that became pro.
  6. First one has a Picasso thing going on. Really dig the skull design.
  7. We have a few more teeth than the ones on wrong turn. Just a few...
  8. It sounds like you have a problem with your clutch trip plate. Could be a spring issue on the plate not keeping tension or too much grease as Salamander said. Hard to say without seeing the reel, just taking a few guesses. If you had serious gear issues you would know it the moment the handle was turned. It would not be smooth at all.
  9. I looked it up, I guess they are made in Louisiana.
  10. He needed a set of those Billy Bob Teeth for that pic. ;D
  11. I concur, nice fish. Only an ounce short of 5 lbs, hell we'll call it a 5 anyway, I would. ;D
  12. Where are Rat-L-Traps made? I have never paid much attention but it seems like Arkansas is coming to mind. I wonder if they are having some made overseas? (China) This would explain a lot on QC issues you were talking about.
  13. Sent you a PM Mike. Also, to the member who sent me a PM about using my tent for the week, it is still available. Sorry I didn't PM you back, I was cleaning out my PM's and accidentally deleted some in my inbox instead of the outbox. :-[ If you still need it let me know and I will bring it along.
  14. Glad the Steelers won. I was nail biting there for a little while. Woo Hoo!!

    Clear your cache.
  16. I have motion lights all around my house and garage. They work great and give me piece of mind. The only problem with those are the coons, cats, deer, skunks, and every other thing that creeps around at night sets them off frequently.
  17. Moose knuckles...use your imagination guys. I'm a boxer brief type guy, don't like the slapping action when I walk.
  18. #1 for me is pitching a jig into heavy cover and waiting for the bump. Nothing gets my heart racing faster than feeling the bump during the drop. #2 would have to be cranking med. depth cranks into cover and then pausing when I feel the crank deflecting. This has been very effective for me the past couple of years. #3 burning spinnerbaits along large ares of shoreline. My PB was caught last year at Guntersville using this method. This year I will probably try to drop shot a little more. I think I've progressed using this method to the point I have become confident with it.
  19. Gonna be good seeing you and the wife again Gary. I with you bud, getting real impatient here too. I stopped and looked at my local lake today, (Stonewall Jackson) and the ice was still about 3 inches thick. Gonna take a while for that to melt. :-[
  20. You are probably seeing mosquito larvae. http://animals.howstuffworks.com/insects/mosquito2.htm

One of those series where they should have stopped at three. Worth a watch if you like gore as much as I do I guess.
  22. I agree with this right here, not to mention something extra to get snagged.
  23. You guys finally getting some snow down your way huh? We got about 4" last night and it's started coming down again. Supposed to get another 5-7" today. At least the lakes are filling up. :-/
  24. Buy an extra battery, I had to get two batteries for my cordless model because of this problem.
