  1. Used to do it when I was a child, glass bottles only then. Probably would taste nasty in the newer plastic bottles.
  2. Sarcasm is a wonderful thing... : I think he was pulling your chain Dave.
  3. Very nice setup.
  4. Try the search function at the top of the main page, I got 42 thread hits in the title alone not including yours.
  5. Looks, sensitivity, and a little weight reduction. My older model Kistlers were a little tip heavy when matched with reels less than 6 oz. They have solved this issue with proper weight adjustment in the butt section.
  6. Still never gets old, kinda like The Night Before Christmas. ;D
  7. I'm glad y'all have been civil on this thread, butted heads a little...yes, but civil. It's been a real good read so far, probably one of the best threads on here in a while. I am opinionated as anyone and I think both sides of the issue have more in common after reading through it. Do I think bass learn if pressured? Yes Do they maintain long term memory if not pressured? I don't think so.
  8. Jay, I didn't know you had it in you. Good read and well done, thanks.
  9. Thanks, been wondering where he got off to.
  10. Unless my memory fails me, that was the jig that pwned on Stonewall in October. That was the one.
  11. Good cheap jig, not my favorite, but I have seen days where I was glad there were a few in the jig box. Real good when the bass want a small profile.
  12. My gray carpet gets so hot in the summer that it will burn your feet if you're bare foot. I would hate to think what black would be like.
  13. Steelers - 24 Cardinals - 14
  14. The lighter drag pressure has never been an issue for me on hooksets, I guess I'm used to it. Some people feel like you need enough drag pressure to snap your rod in half, I don't like the idea of breaking $300+ rods. The reel is on a Kistler Helium II LTX 7' H.
  15. Steez 103H - strictly for pitching jigs, spooled w/ 15 lb. Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon.
  16. Just made my reservations at the Kenlake Campground, really amazing how easy it was online. The whole week (Sat. Apr 4 - Fri. Apr 10) is gonna cost $160.00...that's $40.00 a piece for the whole week. Pretty easy on the wallet for a week of fishing if you ask me. For those of you wanting to reserve online just go to the Kenlake Campground site and create an account, easy to do and takes about two minutes to reserve a campsite for the week. That offer still stands if anyone wants to use my tent for the week. I think tent camping is even cheaper.

  18. Yuck, I don't even want to think about pipes freezing and busting. It always happens at the worst possible time too. :-/

Very nice, I think No. 2 is my favorite.
  20. Great looking jig right there. Those new skirt colors are sweet. Do you wire-tie or use a band?
  21. Congratulations!! WOO HOO, Bachelor party at Kentucky Lake!!
  22. Y'all done went and made me hungry reading about these Johnny Cakes. When I think of Johnny Cakes, I think of an episode from the Sopranos similar to Broke Back Mountain.
