I think you will be okay as long as you're not chewing on them or ingesting small pieces from the bait. I think most baits today have some form of lead or lead paint in them. I used to put split shot on with my teeth when I was younger and I cun steal speell jus fin. ;D
  2. Thanks guys, sounds like everyone was thinking the same way. I will get it done before the boat hits the water this year. I always change my lower unit oil twice a year. LBH, thanks for the instructions. That will save me some money.
  3. SWIMBAITS There is a lot of huge bass in the lake I fish that have probably never seen a swimbait.
  4. I thought it took a year for movies to get into WV. Reminds me of watching year old movies at the Craigsville drive-in when I was a kid. I guess I'm close enough to PA and MD that some of them filter down this way. ;D
  5. Have to agree there. good movie Check out No Country For Old Men One of the best movies I've watched this year.
  6. That is the answer I was looking for. Thank you sir.
  7. No one could see the difference. lol
  8. I would like to have the rod that Flechero built for you. Cool rod!
  9. Rat-L-Trap They're cheap, they catch fish, and come in about every color and size you need. Also, you can beat 'em off rocks all day long. Hard to tear up.
  10. Man, that thing is sweet. d**n you Burley, you know what I gotta do now. It never ends.. :'( That thing will look too good with an Alphas!! I wonder if they'll imbreed? BTW, thanks for the extra pics, much appreciated.
  11. This is for the motor guru's on this site. My engine, 90 hp Merc was purchased in April 2003. My question is, do I need to change the impeller or should I have changed it already? Nothing is wrong with the stream coming out the peehole, it's just as strong as day one. I heard or read somewhere that it should be changed every three to five years. Am I boating on borrowed time or should I just leave it alone and abide by, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Thanks yall! 8-)
  12. I have been eyeballing these since they come out. I would like to put one of my Alphas on it but I'm afraid of some kind of weird imbreeding going on. It would look real good though, black and purple. Good choice!! Got any more pics of the handle? How stiff is the EVA? I know, questions..questions.
  13. I knew the real Burley was out there somewhere. : ;D
  14. :-? :-? :-?? LCpointerKILLA, I think he uses these baits the most because of construction and quality. I mean look how they're built. Even if they did pay him who in their right mind couldn't see how well made these baits are. Hence the hefty price tag. Small price to pay for catching fish in world record potential waters don't ya think?
  15. That's like training wheels isn't it?
  16. I would recommend this, hard to beat for that price. 8-) http://www.deloscustomtackleshack.com/reels/daiwaadvantageHSTA.htm
  17. I know exactly how that feels. Then I look around to see if anyone was watching me get my brains knocked out. ;D
  18. Low Budget Hookers has a pretty good video on this. Look through his videos.
  19. That jointed hinge looks familiar. 3:16 bait?
  20. Tried to free a Rapala crank from a small rockpile with the tip of my crankin rod. Result, six inches missing from the tip of the crankin rod. Forgot to put the plug in the boat on a 10 hp limit lake. I couldn't get the boat on plane to get the excess water out since I have a 90 hp. Should have seen me getting that thing back on the trailer. Bought a bunch of spinner baits and forgot to put them away before getting the boat on plane. All of them except three went into the lake in about 40 ft. of water. I'm sure I could think of more bonehead things I've done last year but those are the first that comes to mind. :-[
  21. I have a LCD Monitor for my computer. When I turn it on, the screen flashes for a second and then it goes back off. I have to repeat this process about 15 to 20 times to get it to stay on. All the cables and plugins are tight, so no problem there. It's like it has to get warmed up for it to stay on. Do these things have an internal switch that goes bad after a while? It just started this three days ago and the screen will be five years old in May. What gives? Do I need a new screen or a new switch that costs as much as a new screen? ;D Anyone ever had the same problem with their LCD monitor?
  22. No disrespect dude but you do look a lot like Eminem. I have thought that from the first time you posted pictures on here. I don't guess that's a bad thing, he does have a way with the ladies. Nice fish though! Post more, I'm jones'n for some fishing right now.
  23. Pretty impressive line up of rods there fishing4fun. I have rods for every application I fish. Some days, they are strung from one end of the boat to the other. Other days I will have only one or two rods out.
