  1. I've been wondering when we were going to start seeing your pics again. Nice fish Dan.
  2. Seems like a good price on the Abu Premier - $199.99. I don't follow Abu much, is that a good price?.
  3. Glenn is waiting on a software patch or something to speed it up. Don't worry, he's on it.
  4. WOW! so you can cast out 100yds w/ them?!? Not quite 100 yds. The Pixy holds about 75-80 yds. of 12 lb. Fluoro. so I would say 65 yds. would be real close. It's a casting machine normally for use with lighter baits. The Steez is a close second followed by the Alphas Ito. I could probably spool the Pixy with a 1/2 oz. trap on a calm day. I can't imagine what a backlash I would get if a headwind kicked up during the cast. It would be brutal. :-/
  5. Daiwa Pixy Daiwa Steez Daiwa Alphas Ito I can nearly spool these reels with 12lb. Fluoro. when casting a 1/2 oz. trap. I probably could spool the Pixy if I tried hard enough.
  6. Perhaps, "Suddenly, I saw the light". : I knew you would be on here. ;D ;D
  7. The drop shot version does look pretty sweet.
  8. X2 You know Daiwa has counciling for problems like this. Seek help right away!
  9. Here's my take on it. IMHO, the non BB handles are no more solid than the BB ones if they have teflon spacers in place of bearings. (i.e. handles that are able to be bearing supported.) Such as JDM Zillions, Alphas, some Vientos. However, handles that have bearings are a lot smoother than those without, especially 4 bearing versions. As Lubina said, they are easier to clean.
  10. I would love to get a 10 but I'm not going to be greedy. LM - 8.5 lbs. SM - 5.5 lbs.
  11. LSU 38 OSU 35 after 2OT I hope this game is this exciting, too long until college football is on again. :-/
  12. SWIMBAITS!!! And a lot more cranks.
  13. Another vote for the P-Line Fluoro. I started using it last year on a few of my baitcasters and really liked it. I will try a few others this year.

Such good craftmanship. Fourth one down from the top, be still my beating heart. I love your cranks!! 8-)
  15. You got it made on the machine shop end. I'm jealous! Sounds like you're gonna be turning out some sick looking reels. Please post pics when you get them set up. PM sent on the I'ZE handle.
  16. Suprisingly very solid. I couldn't tell the difference between the aluminum versus carbon except for weight. I have the Air Spool on the Pixy. Thanks for all the compliments guys.

I ended up getting a couple Realisers from the wife at Christmas. She came in one evening and seen your post as I was reading it. She done good. Two good colors for where I fish, bluegill and bass.
  18. I got ya now. I thought you already had three zillions. I didn't read the post right. Daiwa will sell the zillion handles. If I were you I wouldn't be bending on those dragstars unless you can get a machine shop to do it for you. Too expensive of a mistake to fix. I got my I'ZE handle for $95.00 shipped. I would say the zillion handles would be in the ballpark of $50.00-$60.00 from Daiwa. Just a guess.
  19. I don't think I could stand the suspense. Cranking along, BS'ing with your buddy then WHAM!! On second thought, where do I sign up?
  20. I've been wanting to get one of these for two years now. I always forget about it. BPS had it on sale last spring for $19.99.
  21. Are you saying you don't want to order through Daiwa, or do you want an after market upgrade? Your Zillions should have a swept handle on them. I think I'm confused. :-?
  22. That tilapia does look good.
  23. You may get your arm ripped off using that thing at night. A bait with a bad attitude. You gotta love it! 8-)
