  1. Quality over quantity.....My advice to you is always buy the best you can afford.
  2. So what if Martys friend brakes rods what does that have to do with the price of apples or this Post.
  3. What I stated in my post earlier was a result of my calling Loomis. You can not have it both ways and yes they are monitoring it as well.
  4. You have a choice to use the Xpeditor Program which is no questions asked and then pay for how fast you want the rod. Either the 50.00 standard or 65.00 2-Day delivery. If you elect to go with the warranty which is if there is a defect they will repair or replace the rod for free. However if Loomis determines it was not a defect you then cannot elect to use the Xpeditor program. If I remember correctly that is what happened in the case mentioned in this post.
  5. What on earth do these guys do to their rods? I have a lot of G Loomis rods (40% of them are GLX) and have never broken one yet. I assume if you take proper care in using them and transporting them you will not have many problems with them breaking (no more than any other rod). When it comes to Loomis there is always someone who knows someone, who knows someone ,who knows someone....Well you get the picture...And they do not own one, nor will they ever buy one....

  13. I've had the opportunity to feel most of the new topwater and jerkbait series, but not to fish them just yet. I do have the TWFR 935C - it's a completely different animal from the old frog rod - which was terrible. I've used it to toss smaller hard swimbaits and have been impressed with it - it's going to be an outstanding hollow body frog rod. BronzeFly, Thanks for your input on the 935, Because I love throwing hollow body frogs and still have the 863. One more Loomis I would add to the mix is the SMR702C-TW. That being said I have not had a chance to check out the new Top Waters yet.
