  1. That's hilarious ;D
  2. How is that even aerodynamically possible
  3. ^ Agreed, I was thinking the same. If this guy hadn't had access to a gun, a knife, a club, or a chair would work just as well. Remember, when seconds count, the cops are only minutes away.
  4. Panfish will just nibble the live worms right of your jig head, especially bluegills, they are very adept at that. I stick Berkley wax worms, the ones in the little jars, on them and the blues have a hard time getting them off without getting stuck. Of course, this means there isn't much weight to cast so either fish close to shore or use ultralight equipment. Works well under a pencil bobber, too.
  5. I throw some lead jigheads, in a variety of sizes and curly tail grubs, in a variety of sizes and colors as well. They are relatively inexpensive and since you are just starting out, they won't break the bank if you lose a few. I get Erie Dearie jigheads for about $2.00 a pack and Mister twister grubs for $3 or $4 a pack. There are lots of others.
  6. Same reaction a little kid has when they are doing something they aren't supposed to be doing and you ask the same question. That's funny.
  7. I don't know what that picture is from but I Googled "plague doctor" and searched the images and what I saw was truly frightening. The Bubonic Plague was bad enough but these "doctors" running around would be enough to put anyone in their grave. What a hideous time to be alive, or dying, that must have been.
  8. Eventually, some bad guy probably would have come up with it but this may force the credit card companies, and others, to become proactive rather than reactive to holes in their security. This is an excellent argument against the implantable rfid chips some people want to force on everyone, that would contain all of your banking, medical and personal data.
  9. I'm wondering how many "bad guys", after now learning the technology exists, will now try to "cash-in" on this, literally.
  10. 95% of my tools are Craftsman. In fact, I just took back a 15mm socket that cracked. Got a replacement immediately. All my kitchen appliances are Kenmore.

A true class act. Hollyweird should be so lucky as to have a few more like him.
  12. Dang, I think I've come down with it!
  13. I have a Husq. 350, 18" bar I believe. With a sharp chain, that thing goes through wood like a hot knife through a stick of butter. I bought it because of a kind of emergency situation. I was cutting up tops of trees that had been bulldozed into a pile and the saw I was using got pinched. Absolutely no way to get it out but cut it out. I did have some idle and low/high speed problems with it though. But I've cut some big logs with it.
  14. Move... Seriously thinking about it in a few years
  15. I've got about 16" of the stuff on my deck. Remember, winter isn't for another 2 weeks yet. We're supposed to get blasted again this weekend.
  16. Then duck as the iron comes flying at your head ;D
  17. X2 I would not consider a lawn mower a Christmas gift, but over the years I received many, many tools for gifts... Washer/dryer, from one spouse to another, nah. However if the parents or inlaws wanted to buy it for their children, then heck yeh its a gift, and a darn nice one.
  18. "...and don't call me Shirley" A classic line if there ever was one.
  19. Keep in mind the goal of the extremist is not just to blow up people and things in an attempt to demoralize us, but also to inflict as much economic hardship on us as possible. In this area, they are succeeding. Extra costs for security everywhere, higher costs for airplane tickets, companies potentially going out of business, etc, all these costs are ultimately borne by someone. Look at what the civilian terrorist trials were projected to cost in NYC. They, the city (aka the taxpayer) cannot afford that. Yet even if the terrorist loses in court, he has succeeded in destroying us more economically.
  20. One day, his luck will run out.
  21. I'll add something to what I posted earlier. I have all the worm bags in a plastic container, then, if I'm walking the bank or something I put what I think I want in a very sturdy military OD bag that measures about 6"x9"x12". It has a hard bottom, handles and a very handy shoulder strap. Also 6 pockets on the outside, (3 per side) if I want to put a few other things in as well. Being military surplus, it is practically indestructible. Check out your local military surplus store.
  22. That was on again last night and I have the dvd. Excellent movie.
  23. NOBODY can live up to the Duke.
  24. My guess would be for the alarm. The only reason it's screwed in is to be sure the pack doesn't fall out and interrupt a critical service. I have a similar looking thing in my basement for the alarm.
