Is one better than the other in terms of keeping the fish hooked? Less breakoff?

So I just received the expride bfs in the mail. I noticed the lure ratings are 3/16-3/4oz, which is different from the website. Anyone have any idea what this is?

It makes a lot of sense while it doesn’t. Maybe I am stupid. how can you have a larger spool diameter with a narrower spool at the same time? Doesn’t a larger spool diameter mean wider spool?

Does a bigger/wider spool cast further than a smaller/narrower spool? 70 size vs 150 size?

Does anyone have experience with both rods? Both the 7’3 and 7’6 are the same on paper except for the 3 inches length difference. I have held the 7’3, and I liked it, very well balanced, but it’s sold out. There is only a 7’6 available. My question is how does the 7’6 balance. What are the differences between the two rods?

Yea the 7’3 xh expiry is moderate fast. Exactly, s-waver 168 is the biggest I will throw along with some 5 inch wedge tail trout. Not really into heavy duty rods and reels, matter of fact I have never fished a swimbait bigger than a 3.8 keitech. A curado k is my limit for the reel size. Are the internals of the K the same as the curado mgl 150?

I am going into swimbait fishing. I have an Expride that’s rated up to 2oz. I think it will do job? What are the reasons for the bigger size reel? My curado 150 holds a plenty of line already.

It’s only showing 15% fir me.

Hey man, can you double check the weight of your rod? I got the 735c, and it weighs 5.5oz, balance point is at the hook keeper with a heavy reel.

I am sure a lot of us know the Tatula sv can be noisy. I can’t remember how mine was out of the box, but it’s been really noisy recently, and I did a deep clean and applied a little but if lube to the internal parts. However, it’s still noisy, if not worse. my question is what makes it noisy? The gears? Are the Tatula gears interchangeable with say the steez or zillion? Would it be quiet if i was able to do a gear swap with the steez or zillion gears, if possible?

The gears are interchangeable between the alphas and the zillion?
