I got some!!! my Unicorn Bait. the Zoom Z-Drop worm in Morning Dawn. lets just call it pink or purple, okay? I have HIGH-HOPES for this bait. the worm undulates better on a drop shot than any worm in my opinion (I weedless Tex-Rig them always). and they all seem to be tired of Green Pumpkin and the purples are picking up steam in my area. we shall see. headed to the CA Delta Saturday, not my drop shot hot spot, but I will bring some.

thanks. I have new Costas. not sure they make anything that would trump those lenses. Costa makes a clear clear pair of eyewear. I have to keep touching my face to make sure my Costas are on my face since I forget about them. I bought Pit bull replacement lenses from Oakley before everything went discontinued. to date the PitBull is my best fitting pair of Oakleys ever!! I still have them and the lenses are the best part. the rest of the frame is getting tattered. they are my dedicated Mtn biking glasses. saved me in a horrific crash. well, not the concussion and fracture knee part.

you guys are killing me. my tacoma drums are so feeble they never wear out. I think I've done the drums 3x only. triple that on the fronts. maybe. I've not done the math, but I would venture that the fronts do 80% of the "whoa". my 4.0L handles the "go". hahah.

my truck, sadly still has drum-brakes in the back. a Toyota Tacoma. i HATE them. the amount of cancerous stuff that pours out...i take it in and get it done by someone. i have done drum brakes all my life, and even adjusting them is a mixture of luck and voodoo. for me. no thanks. i make enough money now that i really really consider my options for car repairs. i still do my own oil changes, and stuff like that. but i seem to be really busy these days doing "fun stuff".

For Example. Hellgrammites or the Goby. artificial bait can look awesome (to the fisherman), but if i threw out a bait that isnt even available in my region, am i wasting my money? i'm not sure we have hellgrammites where i live. never seen one. thoughts?

sadly, i work. weekends are my norm. as a kayaker, i have the added benefit of the non-boating lakes around me, but they still get crushed by pressure on occasion. as a general rule, i dont mind other people around me. who else am i gonna annoy by hoisting up a bass in jubilation? i think i do okay even on weekends.

i'll try it right after i try the Tokyo rigs i bought. haha. i cant keep up.

with my own eyes. i have been fishing a long time, and i have yet to see someone crank on a spinning reel with the reel perched up. i always thought it was filed there with "old wives tales". like a long running joke. it was a lady casting from shore. she was having a blast, laughing with family and i just smiled and moved on. it was kinda cool seeing it done. looked awkward as heck. hahaha..but she was happy.

As a civil engineer that works on our infrastructure. roadway design is very robust. it is really the commercial traffic beating up the roads. but having said that, yea..i would like to see the burden carried equally amongst the users. but life isnt fair. i pay lots of taxes on my home to pay for schools. i dont have kids. it is what it is. hahaha...

Right now? Life isn’t fair. Sure EV’s are not paying the fair share. Why stop there? We can darn near illustrate the same point a myriad of ways. however CA is currently studying and implementing an equitable program where drivers pay buy how often the use the roads. It’s started in some places. It will take some infrastructure mods, but it will happen. The State wants their vig.

They tax EV’s at registration each year. There is no free lunch. I believe Carl Sagan said, him saving and recycling aluminum cans isn’t going to save the planet. I imagine same goes for EV cars.

Leaning rods was making my wife nuts. I would always lean them against something she needed to get at. t-billy, that is a lot of rods! Wow. Almost gives me anxiety. Haha.

I’m shocked. I’d argue the lenses are clearer than OEM! I have been fishing heavy cover and I like a plastic lens for this. The new lenses elevated my old Arnette glasses to “first chair” position. I wash them lovingly with a drop of dish soap under running water after each trip. They glisten. im am so happy Revant saved my best fitting sunglasses.

I think several presentations are very similar in nature. I like the Zoom ribbon tail rigged a myriad of ways. Shakey, Tex rig, jig head, all good.

I go year round as well. I have pretty mild temps throughout the year. ‘grilling in stifling heat is worse. Way worse than winter.

I have the perspective of someone that has neither. I do fish with friends with the gear mentioned. the one that I envy is the guy with spot lock. blowing around a lake on a kayak is so frustrating sometimes. he just plants there. kinda nice tho. I use him for a visual reference to get back to where I was. Shhhhh, dont tell him. livescope just seems like the icing on the cake. I just want cake at this point. a big slice of spot lock flavored cake.

I have a third color on deck, but I rarely go to it. the black blue. last winter my friend kicked my butt with black blue, the yum dinger. I might need to reconsider this color, since my ego can't handle another winter of wuupass
