  1. I had a rollover trailer for 14 years. That trailer was awesome. Super easy to launch. And drive on at idle, bump the front roller, walk up and hook the wench strap, and put motor in neutral. Not sure I see a need for this trailer for the money. I have noticed over the years more and more ramps say no power loading. FYI.
  2. Get rid of the cheap bias ply tires. Buy some load range C radial tires. Inflate them to around 90%. That’s the best you will get out of that trailer.
  3. Trim the big motor up and let it fly.
  4. Up north fisherman here Live Target Whopper Plopper Berkley 6th Sense 13 fishing Rapala Yo- Zuri Strike King Cabelas These are all my main bluegill baits that work consistently. Stike King and 6th Sense are always tied on a rod somewhere in the boat.
  5. Just start fishing with your old lures. Probably out fish everyone. The biggest change is Bass boats are now a mortgage payment. I’ll be fishing my aluminum boat forever. people say game changer about everything now. I never looked at fishing as a game so I don’t really get that. But hey it sells stuff.
  6. This^^^ learn the Rapala knot for poppers and walking baits. https://www.animatedknots.com/rapala-knot
  7. If the UPS delivery guy knows your name and knows to put the box at the back door. And not ring the bell if the wife’s car is in the drive, you might be a fisherman.?
  8. Preferably nose up slightly but that can look different on every boat and water conditions play a part also.
  9. ????????????? uh yeah that’s the very definition of a skirted jig. How do you think they were invented. They are a modified jig. ?????????????
  10. I’m guessing the leaning is not using the trim correctly. At what speed does it lean? Idle, or when your driving it faster. The only time the motor should be trimmed all the way down is when you take off for speed. Once the bow starts to lower start to slowly trim up. Do it in small spurts at first to get the feel of the boat on top of the water and how the trim affects attitude. For most driving conditions while on plane the trim should be coweling level to boat to trimmed all the way up. It just takes time driving it. The way to adjust the trim tab on the motor is , AT IDLE ONLY, let go of the steering wheel while going straight. Does the boat pull left or right. The trim tab can be adjusted to compensate for this pull. Then drive it at speed and make any need adjustments to compensate for pull. With manual steering there is always a little torque, but when adjusted properly you should be able to comfortably drive one handed.
  11. Let’s add to that this. As a truck driver, the country has been losing truck drivers for years. The driving force is aging and younger people just don’t want to work the hours we work. COVID accelerated that problem immensely. Drivers retired earlier or just left all together. I heard today 20-25% of gasoline tankers are parked with no one to drive them. Demand is high and supply is low. Get ready for $5/gallon gas folks. P.S. If your making less than $65,000 per year. You might want to go get a CDL. I work in HazMat Cryogenics and pulled in $97,000 last year. Not bragging. Just letting others know there are jobs out there that pay very well. You just have to want to earn it.
  12. I started with the same green tackle box above. My tackle box today is 18’8” long, 7’8” wide and needs a truck to carry it to the lake.?hmmm.
  13. We keep a whole boat full of baits, because once we we find the one bait that works. We work that bait. Its like figuring out how to hit a home run off a pitcher and deciding to change bats. You just don’t do it.
  14. I have a rod with each ready to go. Plus a pitching jig, a swim jig, and a skipping jig. I only have one rod with a Texas rig on it.
  15. Gamakatsu The bait keeper doesn’t destroy the bait. The shank above the bait keeper is perfect for snelling. Hook is strong enough to swing fish in the boat. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/gamakatsu-super-heavy-cover-worm-hooks
  16. A spinner bait is a skirted jig A buzz bait is a skirted jig A chatter bait is a skirted jig The skirt camouflages the hook, gives the bait color, the appearance of movement when the bait is still, and gives the bait a larger look to bass.
  17. This^ plus wake baits
  18. It’s been awhile since I owned a Mercury but some outboards have a grease nipple lower down on the midsection also. It may be under the lower coweling. Meaning you have to tilt motor up to find it. Again not sure about your engine.
  19. Stick it will work in Power pole micro if you decide to up grade. I have 2)8’ and one 10’ pole. The 10’ pole gives a lot but makes a great push pole.
  20. Red exposed to ultraviolet rays? ”Its Salmon”
  21. Did you lube until just a little lube came out of the tilt knuckles.?
  22. Your obviously single?
