  2. My friend actually bought composite boards and carpeted it. It was a little more expensive, but it was worth it. It slides right in with no problem.
  3. Thanks, it's a nice boat. I can load it in the back of my Nissan Frontier, use a 46 pound electric motor that pushed me around really well.
  4. I have the se8 as well, My buddy and I (weigh 500 plus pounds) was able to fish in it with no problem.
  5. was looking at academy sports and their bass raider that is $100 cheaper than any other place. Is it worth me to drive to my closest one (328 miles) to buy one or just pay the extra $100

  9. Yeah, that is a nice looking boat there as well. Like your Raider as well. I really enjoy my boat. My buddy and I (500 plus pounds) can get around mine pretty well.
  10. Not a pelican boat, but this is what I did to my Sea Eagle SE8.
  11. I was going for the Pelican for the longest time. The one my buddy was going to sell, his nephew borrowed and destroyed it. I actually went with a Sea Eagle8. An inflatable the same size as the Pelicans and they hold 950 pounds which is an awesome thing. I wish there was a topic with this stuff on it, but I will post of picts of things I do with my boat on here if no one is against it.
  12. Being a teacher, I have to say no to both Being from Ohio, the Kentucky lake would be great, but our spring break is early April so I won't be able to go. Need to do a summer one, I know when the bass bite is a little harder. LOL
  13. Like that set-up. I plan on putting in rod-holders and was thinking about a casting deck as well. but it looks like it may be hard with way the boat is designed.
  14. here is my winter project. Not sure what kind it is but the seats were actually based at the bottom. But it is over 10 feet, I already have the steps down on what I am building, but now I have to figure out how to install new seats. since these won't be able to fit after I put the floor in. Cost me $150 for the boat.
  15. Very nice, my buddy and I are going t get his boat out sometime soon so I can get a look at it. We are going to go together, but I will mostly be fishing by myself since he has a 16 foot Lund. I am already designing modifications already on how I want the boat to look.

They seem to be the best in your price range. http://delaware.craigslist.org/boa/4623308722.html http://delaware.craigslist.org/boa/4586433609.html http://delaware.craigslist.org/boa/4598693093.html http://easternshore.craigslist.org/boa/4573945658.html
  18. Just went through this whole topic, I just bought a 2014 Nissan Frontier so now I can get one of these boats. My friend has a 10 foot one that I plan on buying and modifying it this winter. You guys gave me so many ideas to think about now. Thanks everyone.
  19. There are a few clubs that I know of in NE Ohio. I don't want to put an addy to another forum here so if you want me to give another forum I am a member of I will give it to you. I am not a part of one right now, but I just won a rod and reel at a sports show where they are going to present it to me at their next meeting. I am going to look into their club when I am there. I am from Akron.
