  1. Try a shimano sedona 2500. I own a Symetre 1000 and a Sedona 2500. Can't beat the sedona for the price at $49.99. It's a reel winner.
  2. Well where would I fall into the posse then? 2 Chronarch 100's 2 Calcutta 100's 1 Curado 200 1 Citica 200
  3. I used to fish late 90's Champions all new of course. Then I bought a used Ranger. Wow what a difference!! The Ranger is built on a one piece design meshing the deck and hull together. I would seriously consider them. They are darn there bullet proof!! Good Fishing,
  4. Dawn dish soap and warm water works most of the time. Good Fishing,
  5. Thanks very much for the info. Guess i'll check comp. I've heard nothing but bad about the shooter prop. Good Fishing,
  6. I'm running about 5500 rpm. No jackplate though. I was thinking about a 24 or 25 pitch renegade. Top end is fine but haven't done a compression check.
  7. I run a Ranger 364v 18' boat with a Rude 150 25" 13.25 dia Shooter 4 blade. I get about 62mph out of her and the holeshot sucks any help would be great? Good Fishing,
  8. Looks Great, Congrats Keep a cover on her if stored outside. Nothing like owning a new/used boat!!! Good Fishing,
  9. For most applications throughout the US a 18 footer is great! Any boat that has been on rough water will have gelcoat cracks, watch out for cracks in the transom. Good Fishing,
  10. Reel Mech wouldn't lead you astray. Good Fishing,
  11. Never used cajun line before, Red hmmm, Sticks out pretty bad try Mean Green Trilene XT or maybe even a flourocarbon. Good Fishing,
  12. I like a 6-6 or 7' ML w/ a curado B5 for cranks and a 6-10 MH w/ a Calcutta for pitchin.
  13. Remember this the faster you crank that crankbait the more it tends to stand on end, (hydrodynamics) So I like a 5.0:1. This allows the bait to dive and by using lighter line you can get more depth out of them. Good Fishing,
  14. You guys should check out the rods Reel mech builds. Wow what a difference custom builds make over store bought. The price may be even cheaper than The popular Gloomis's. Good Fishing,
  15. Another thing to watch for is thumb placement during retrieve. If you rest your thumb on the spool during retrieve that will cause the line to run on one side or the other of the spool. Just some advice,
  16. If you can afford a new boat by all means get one. But personally I would let someone else take the hit on depreciation. I picked up a used Ranger last year for $4000. It's a 1988 model 364V with an Evinrude 150. Used to own a 1998 Champion 171DC with a 115 Merc. I like the used boat better not as pricey and I don't cry when it gets a scratch. Good Fishing,
  17. You should be able to purchase it from your local lumber store. Perhaps, Lowe's or Home Depot would carry it. Good Fishing,
  18. 8.02 lbs 26 in long caught her at Big Hill Lake Cherryvale, KS on a Bone Wiggle Wart.
  19. I have some chalking issues. Just wondering, thanks for the info
  20. I know a couple of guys that own DynaTraks and they seem to be good boats. I would be careful though because they to my knowledge the company no longer exists. I bought a used Ranger for $4,000 and I love it. Nothing out performs an old Ranger!!!
  21. I have a 1988 Ranger 364V and I am looking for opinions on Wax products. I currently use ranger boat wax by Hot Rod's Wax. Any help would be great! Good Fishing,
  22. I would check to see if the wheel is balanced. Unbalanced wheels can cause major greif. Good fishing,
  23. Nice to have you aboard! Good fishing!!! Ranger364v

This is my first post so pardon any wrong doings. I have been Bass Fishing for 20+ years and absolutely love it. I own a 1988 Ranger 364V with a 150 Rude! Hope to hear from you all. Good fishing!!
