I agree, You should replace the water pump impeller once every three or four years, but if you run in shallow water (trenching) ;D ;D maybe more often. I've cut a few trenches my self. Thank God for SS props!!

You can wire directly off the hot side of your panel, However be careful not to overload the circuit. This can and will cause costly damage to your fishfinder if not done properly.

I have a 5' 6" MH that gets used for roll casting spinnerbaits in tight quarters. I really like this rod for this type of situation.

Get a hold of Ranger they can steer you in the right direction. They usually have parts for all of their old stuff. I have a 1988 model and everything is still readily available. If they don't have it they can probably get it.

Shimano has three good choices: Sedona $49.99 Sahara $59.99 Symetre $79.99 I have all three and can't complain about any of them can't really tell much difference either.

As with any situation, I let the fish tell me what they want. Hopping, swimming, shaking, deadsticking, Whatever they will bite best.

If I catch a 4 lb plus fish I always drop to my knees and thank GOD. The rest is up to him. Being out on the lake when the sunrises is the closest you can get to Heaven unless you're saved. The fish are just a bonus.

I know your pain. I live in Wichita,KS and we went from 81 degrees on Monday to Snow and 30 degrees. :'( Just remember you can't catch fish sitting at home any time spent on the lake is time (therapy) well spent!! ;D Good luck and keep those spirits up!!

One word, CHOMPERS!!! 1/8 oz to 1/4 oz Standup head depending on how fast the water is running. Skirt grub. Watermelon Red is my favorite!!! Smallies and Big Kentuck's Can't resist. Good fishing,

Here's a tip Baitcasters: Run the line off of the top of the spool. Leave about 1/8 in from machined edge of reel spool when full. Spinning: Run the line off of the bottom of the spool. Leave about 1/8 in from edge of spool but remember the line always works better after it has been wet. This will minimize line twist. The reel mech showed me this years ago.

Reel Mech is great! I've known Dave for years. Just Had a couple of Chronarchs super tuned by him, he added Carbon Tec drag discs. Wow what a difference. Went out to one of my favorite lakes yesterday and took 3 fish over 4 lbs on them. Proper maintence is the key to success!!!

Well here's the deal, Public lake, bank fishing (not enough rain yet for boat) There were several people lining the bank I walk 40 + yards down from him well out of cating distance. I catch a fish and the guy goes ballistic. So, being the good Christian I am, said man there's a whole dam to fish get over it. He replys maybe I'll just kick your___! What a baby! Grow up and then we'll talk. I started thinking 40-50 degree water temp maybe this guy wants to go for a swim?

Have you ever been fishing mindin your own and some young punk wants to start a fight? A couple of weeks ago this happened to me... I was fishing at a local lake First cast of the day boom I catch a 9.0 lb Eye. This Kid walks up (20-25 yrs old ) and claims i was fishing in his hole. Well He starts cussing me up and down and you probably no where it goes from here. What's wrong with this picture?
