  1. All the above! The thrill is the same however you fish. I love wading as long as the bottom will allow. Actually thats my favorite way because I am super focused.
  2. That explains alot! Whew! 😁
  3. Your on my bucket list Alex! It would be an honor to be your net man! Right now I'm trying to get my daughters bottle babies out of the house! 😬 Sorry about the sideways picture. Don't know how to rectify. Tell me there's not a place called Crackhead Creek! I'm loosing faith in humanity!
  4. Well.......I'm not as cute as Dolly.....and I sure as heck ain't lickin' fish....but I'm available! I excel at netting and that's all you really need! 😁
  5. Aaron, I'm surprised you haven't gotten a hair citation! Obviously, gimruis is out fishing! But beware...he will return! Ain't bashful about the buffet line, that's for sure! What are they eating in there? That can't be all eggs, can it? Might have et a beer can!
  6. Dang! That's HardCore there! Catching an absolute Lunker in the Snow. I'm going back inside where it's warm and put my sissy pants back on! I'm freezing just looking at the picture!
  7. Thanks for the serious belly laugh your comment gave me. Really needed it this morning!
  8. As someone who was fortunate enough to stomp around northern Mississippi in my youth, I can vouch for the fantastic crappie fishing....However, those two 3.5 monsters you caught in SC dwarf the average Mississippi crappie....at least the several hundred I've caught! Yes, the World Record WC came from the Enid tailwater, but the WR BC came from a pond in East Tennessee by Lionel Ferguson just a couple years back. His was bigger than the Enid Crappie at 5 lb. 7oz
  9. Shows how much I leave the house. I never would have know about this otherwise. Didn't realize I was so cutting edge in my youth, ripping jeans on barbed wire. I think you should be making arrests! This type of ignorance is criminal!
  10. Is that really a thing? "Pre-ripped jeans"? That's worse than buying faded jeans. Heck, wash um' a couple times and you're there! The best jeans are the ones covered with spring babies!
  11. If you're chasing "Brownies" in Arkansas, you must be in the northwest fishing the Buffalo, White, or the Little Red. That's beautiful country. Yes, these master anglers on this site can sure help you out. My stompin' grounds are the other side of the state, near the river....the BIG river that is! No "Brownies" there, but lots of "Greenies".
  12. No, but I've seen enough of Blue Bassers giants to know how they look! They look like the ones you and Alex catch. And Team9, Pat, AJ, Dwight, Ripzlipz....ect. They don't favor mine at all.
  13. Actually Alex, that is not a recent picture. I felt I needed to contrast the huge bass caught by you master anglers, with the fish caught by us piscatoricley challenged mortals.
  14. I've caught gobs of crappie back in the day but I've never seen one like that. Longer maybe but never that fat. She could populate the entire lake! Please share that picture. I want to see if you really were!
  15. I didn't do the fittin', he did! And to think I've complemented you so many times on the quality of your fish.......and you're makin' fun of mine! 😁 Everyone can't catch inland whales like you Katie. The youngin's get to get caught too! Actually, I've been amazed over the years at the ability of tiny bass to hook themselves on the lures we use. I've got tons of pictures like this where a little fella has eyes bigger than his stomach and tries to eat a lure much too large for his lips. And as you see, it's not just bass that have this behavior, their cousins the Bluegill share this trait.
  16. Dalton went 0-5 in one stretch then started hitting bombs from the parking lot, along with a MAJOR PHI SLAMMA JAMMA on a perfect feed! You just can't coach that! They still need lots of work on free throws 😬
  17. Yeah and I was nervous as heck when Auburn went up by five and stayed at five for a while. I need to stay away from basketball and keep fishing. Less strain on the inards!
  18. Yes, we got the storms in middle Tennessee earlier in the day. Temps dropped from 70's to 40's. Muy frio!
  19. I try to make a yearly pilgrimage to Dale Hollow. I've caught a few but I've yet to land a big one. When you do go, make sure its not a summer weekend. The lake is crowded with jet skis and wake boats. It is also full of big crappie and sunfish. There are monster shellcrackers to be had in the spring.
  20. My guess is he never got to it! 😁
  21. Eric broke out the inline spinner!!!! Reminds me to fish it more often this year. Just the durn thing hangs everything below air level. Stumps, grass, sticks, and fish.
  22. Katie, MN Fishers got that Viking thing going on too! I used to, but if you notice my Avatar, chasing those green and brown river devils have turned my Red Beard into the color of sausage gravy! Either the bass did it or raising kids..........marriage......taxes....or the bait monkey! All the above!
  23. Thanks for the laugh Katie! I really needed it this morning!
  24. These are the fishiest looking soft baits ever. My problem now is all my rivers are high and muddy. Looks like I'll be waiting awhile to try them. I'm sure they will get bit on lakes as well. I can just see all little BG's pecking these all the way to the boat!
