  1. i wish they got that big around here...you'll be lucky to catch 5 lbs and up
  2. i agree with avid... i dont like fishing the day after it rains i just like fishing the minute the rain stops...if the water is muddy use a lipless crankbait.....if its sunny out use a lighter color...cloudy turn to darker color , just the same as ever other bait...it also depends on the temperature of the air and the water.if its really warm try a spinnerbait cause most likely the fish arent going to be extremely deep..the vibration from the blades will help the noise for the fish to hear easier.what i do with my 2 baitcasters is put a spinnerbait on one and a lipless crank on the other...give it a try
  3. lipless crankbaits....fish them very slow though or else you'll be going home pretty ticked...just did this tuesday and caught 4 so give it a try
  4. we have started tournaments here in ny and we are looking for a fish scale with a weight limit of about 25 to 35 pounds.... anyone know where i could find one???
  5. I have a Bass pro shops pro qualifier baitcaster...this reel quit on me and i sorta thinking the gears arent hitting and im missing both springs, and i know that reel wont turn over... If anyone repairs them or would like to buy it shoot me a pm...
  6. i also love the rapala rattlin rapalas....either the bluegill color or the red crawdad.....about 120 of my 200 fish last year were with the rattlin rapalas

i bought the banjo minnow 2 years ago and only used it for a year or so....i caught a bunch of fish with them but gave them up...starting catching bigger fish on cranks..myself i would save my money and first find what works the best on the pond or lake your fishing and save ur 30 dollars...thats my opioion its up to you though.hope this helped ya
  10. good job man, yeah i just got out yesterday because the water was so muddy before i didnt even wanna fish it,,,caught 4 2 and 2 and a half pounders and boy sitting in the house for a couple months and then getting out in the water and nailing fish is some fun stuff .good luck the rest of the season
  11. yea they take a while to master...i just bought the quantum accurist and it has a really good backlash control..ive been fishing with baitcasters for 5 years now and still cant say that i am a master at it...still get some backlashes once in a while...i practice during the winter which helps out...check your drag and make sure that the drag isnt set down...that could be ur problem but just keep trying and it will eventually come to you...hope this helps!!
