Daiwa Rebellion Rod Line
I have a Zodias 6ft med/light casting rod and i can't say i have had it for a really long time i have only have it about 6 or 7 months. But what i can say is that it has held up really good with all the fish it has caught. They seem to be true to what they say to (which is amazing) when it says medium light it means medium light not to much but not to little perfect for me. Even tho I do not have a 7'5 or 7'3 to tell you how those do, i really like my 6ft rod and im happy with the rod.

Baits to Take Advantage of Boat/Kayak Drift
I would do some of these, ned rig, a jig with a craw on it, just a craw, curly tail, jerk bait, and or a small bait maybe like a rooster tail.

Melting Old Plastics - How?
The way I do mine is get a pyrex 2 cup measuring cup and just put in the pieces and then put it in the microwave for 30-45 sec intervals mixing it until it gets to be about 350-400 degrees f but i found out that 360-375 degrees works best for me.

Lake Wylie sc
your best bet is under docks and back in coves in my time fishing here lizards wacky rigs and a Texas rigged have worked for late morning and all afternoon. A frog does really well in the early morning. Also if you are kinda on the main channel casting under the docs then throw out a all white jerk bait i have caught a lot on that and a couple of nice 3-4 pounders on that.

Lake Wylie, SC
There is lots of fish in the coves not to many big ones but you might get a big one here and there then under the docks is a good one.
-
Wylie?
It used to be better back then than it is now just really over fished and not to many big ones anymore. But if you fish back in the coves there are lots of them now there only a pound or so must still lots of them.

Lake Wylie NC
Your best bet if your fishing from a boat is to go into the coves just go a little farther back in them and pay attention to what the water looks like.

Deep Offshore Rod Help--Heavy Bucktail Jigs, Spoons, etc.
They are not wrong there so many tournments here and now all the big fish die because there 1 not put back where there from, 2 kept in a small live well with many other fish, 3 these fish could not be fizzed the correct way, 4 there is 4 or 5 bass kept in a bag filled 6 inches of water in 90 degree heat waiting on a boat ramp for 20 min. There is just a lot of reasons why theres not many big bass here anymore and its just over fished badly.

Tackle shops on Lake Wylie and Lake Norman
theres honestly theres not that many you will be better off going to an academy which is about 25-30 min from Lake Wylie. The reason for me saying this is because the rusty is over priced so if you want good deals but still high quality just go to academy because they are cheap.

Thank you i did the math for the front deck it would somewhere around 20 pounds
-
10 ft jon boat
I'm not quite sure if i should do that and i would not have the seats on there i just need it to float and do good with a front deck. with two people.

10 ft jon boat
I get that but i will only be paddling in a 2-3 acer pond

10 ft jon boat
Oh wow yea i'm not 100% sure what i'm going to do yet i was really wanting a front and back deck but thats just wayyy to much weight so i'm thinking about only a front deck. Not quite sure yet but this is kinda the build i was going for, except i'm not putting a troll motor on mine.

- 10 ft jon boat
yes mine has a rating and it says 230 pounds or 2 people. It was my dads old Jon boat and he is a bigger guy (around 285) and he and my grandpa (around 145) took it out i think with just paddles to get them around. Im not saying this is a good weight for the boat by any means (also not sure how it performed with that weight) just wondering what you guys think and how much weight you guys have seen or experinced with it.- 10 ft jon boat
Do you think i should just leave the boat how it is and not do anything to it? If you had to guess what do you think the total weight on your boat was? - 10 ft jon boat
