  1. Good afternoon all! I trout fished as a kid with my dad did some bass fishing. I stopped fishing for awhile but about the last 10 years I have been going at it fairly hard after a motocross injury. I jumped off the deep end and went into musky fishing. I fished out of a canoe with a trolling motor for quite a few years till I got my boat. I was your diehard typical musky guy. I still pick up a musky rod here and there but, I have been primarily fishing smallies in the susky. I joined because I enjoy reading peoples ideas and tactics they like to use. It always gets my gears rolling how I might be able to apply to my fishing situations. I am usually out on the water with my two best fishing buddies, My dad and my dog.
  2. My dad took my fishing till I was 16. I lost interest after I need to buy a license. I did fish again till I was about 23-24. Jumped right back into it musky fishing. Now I don’t pick up the musky rods near as much. I just enjoy going out with my dad or a buddy more so now.
  3. The key is slow down. Which is not my strong suit either. You can definitely get them in mid 30 degree water temps. Always keep in mind to that flow in a river is just as important if not more then water temp. They will still go into flooded creek mouths that are relatively shallow when the river is up.
