this reel can cast so far with the easiest cast if i could compare the zenon MG-X i would say it cast better than the shimano antares MGL. Ar first impression the reel felt so cheep in the hand byt after using it now its worth the money its now my favorite reel .

Point blank or eternity or ???
i brought the 72mhf eternity blank and broke while testing the guide spacing and while slighty bending the tip the rod broke from 8 inches from the tip

best blank for my custom Carolina/Free rig
690 grams of power i just purchased the blank now looking at the 73hxf thanks for the suggestion. nice to see those tech # give you a good idea of the rods power. would be interesting to see the blank with 1150 power deadlift 22 pounds that would be cool

high end baitcast real for Carolina rigs
im looking for a light reel with the ability to cast 3/8-5/8 oz rigs with a 2 to 2 1/2 foot leader. i have the 22 bantam for heaveir rigs and the 22 200 xg conquest ror heavy football heads when i need to go really deep. there is a grassy lake where the average depth is 8-maybe 10 feet it does have some deep hples but 3/8-5/8 seems to work great i was thinking since im tgoing to throw light i should have lighter gear what are everyones thought on these reel and giv e me some details like the good the bad and your overall opinion please. Who uses a Phenix Feather MH and H rod????
i built a 7'1 mh and the 7'7 heavy. the 7'1 i use for jerkbaits and walking the dog stick baits. the 7'7 heavy is rated 1/4 - 2 oz but starts feeling overloaded with anything over 1 oz to be able to work a jig and still have control otherwise great rods

guides and rod performance
i started a the would it be silly topic but didnt get the answer i wanted so ill explain this. i ordered a rod that has a tip of 6.5 i want to use fuji black titanium frames and use the kw double foot with a giude train of 10-8-6 all the way up to the tip top that needs to be a 6 ring becouse the tube size is 6.5. what i want to know is will using all double foot kw giudes damper the performance of the rod, a carbon 4 7'6' medium heavy rating 3/8-1 1/4 OZ lure weight
