thinking on getting my nephew a new reel he can cast a baitcaster like no other and he needs graduation pressen. one thin is he has small hands what are the best small ergonomic reels

the steez a tw hlc was the xg and ijust brought the hg a 2 tw

just brought it just hope it is 10 times better than the hyper long cast that reel didnt feel like it had any cranking power even with lippless cranks

1 1/2 oz jig with pork trailer in about 30 feet of water and the bottom is very thick grass and it held up fine

7'7 heavy feather has a rating of 1/4 -2oz but i dont go heavier than 1 1/2oz you can buy a 736k2 blank and build your own and that blank is definatly good up to 2oz

The 22 bantam is my favorite out of all my reels. That reel will last forever

cant go wrong with cfx grips they are more sesitive than cork but i love american tackle full carbon grips they make any blank more sensitive. MY OPINION

first time i decided to try catching a muskie i arrived at a spot i usually catfish and rge sun was barely dusk my first cast was with a 6 inch white spook using the walk the dog method and hooked a 5 foot muskie when i got it close ro shore it shook its massive head and rook off so fast the treble hooks straigtend right out and i lost that beast my heart was pounding for the next two hours i could belive how huge the mout was on that fish. i never cought a muskie close to that size again yet anyway

guys im talking about reels sold in in the USA only. you cant buy a calcutta Dc or a Anteres DC at tacklewharehouse but you cant get a curado mgl on a japan tackle store either get what im saying

and not all JDM reels are made in japan

should have aske about Lews, Abu, Adent 13 ect. none of them are made in USA there just available in the United States.

other than Shimano and Daiwa reels what is the best baitcast reel in your opinion. im curius what eceryone has to say about USDM reels since ive only have JDM reels

im looking for a rod that is super stiff im talking like fast action with hardly any bend if that makes sense. to further describe im looking for a blank that if you mount horizontally fromm the butt section and load the tip with 16 ounces and the top 6-8 inch portion of the bends very little with little to no flex in the bottom 3/4 of the blank. I am not close to any shop that sells blanks and only able to order online. anyone can recomend any blank simular to what i described would be great. i only plan to use 1/2-2oz with it

thank you all for the help i just cast a 3/8 oz jig head 130 feet easy disnt measure maybe a bit longer. happy with it no should cast real good 1/2 up good and long now was about to loose my sobriety over this thank god for bassresource.com for the support
