I swear, every dang time I'd bring it back to the boat I swore there was grass on it. I'd bring it up to me to take the grass off, only to realize it was the dang skirt. Drove me nuts. ?‍♂️?

Sounds like something I would do...too funny.  Noticed the ALX rod.  I just got the spinning Zolo JPS - arrived yesterday.  Will be trying it out next weekend hopefully.  Seems like a quality rod in the hand.

Yeah, I have 3 ALX rods. A ZOLO Deputy, ZOLO Dream and IKOS Thunder. All very solid rods. I'm sure you'll enjoy it! 

You'll get use to it once you start dragging it back with bass hanging on it . Good looking skirt .

That was my first time using a Bassman. Unfortunately didn't catch anything on it that day.

@Siebert Outdoors will make you a spinner bait in just about any color you want. 

I wouldn't buy it because the swivel is on backwards...

can you tell me a little about the dream. i was thinking of buying one for topwaters , spooks, sexy dog vixen etc. looking for somethin with a fairly soft tip tp protect trebles but enough backbone to handle fish in moderate cover.

For full size Spooks I would opt for something a little heavier than the Dream to be honest. If you're talking Spook Jr etc then it'd do great IMO.

Yup, upon further inspection today you are right. It's on there correctly.

I thought for sure that it was going to be that pike smashed it every cast and turned it into a mangled mess of wires and metal.
