Questions about catfish
I would not be happy with a guide who thought it was OK to be catching cats. That is like the most avoided thing when using live bait. And if your using cutbait inshore and not sight fishing, you will be catching cats all day!

Saturday Afternoon in Saddle Creek
That's way more fun than a crappie anytime IMO. Cool fish!

Anyone use the 2" Senko? For what?
I bet if you rigged a 2 inch senko weedless wacky or texas and threw it on a bed momma would hit it. I just don't see how momma could pass up such a subtle lure. That will be one of the first lures I throw on a bed this year, oh yeah behind my mattlures tilapia.

Where Would You Send a Guy Looking for LuckyCraft and MegaBass Cranks?
I personally like Tackle Warehouse, but their Megabass lure selection/color selection are not good at this time. Less than a year ago their Megabass selection was great, I actually bought two flapslaps from them. Now even the selection of vision 110's is poor. They have a great Luckycraft selection. I have done a lot of business with them and have had good experiences. 3 months ago I made a return of a Diawa Light&Tough rod and they sent me a replacement instantly, and dealt with the rod's factory warranty themselves on their own time. They took it off my debit card when they received the rod I mailed back---not when they received the money from the warranty. That is good service.

2 Double D's
I'm going to go ahead and be the one to say that bass on the bottom picture is definitely dead. The other one may be as well. I know what a dead bass looks like. Plus it looks like you just picked up each bass out of a cooler right there to take that picture in that same spot. Regardless, they are/were nice fish.

What would happen?
Inshore on the intracoastal waterway, my uncle and I have been fined. I forgot why they initially stopped us, but we didn't have the right amount of flotation devices. The police (or whatever they are) out there I think are just angry because all they do all day is fine people on PWC's because those people never seem have licenses. Watch out for those guys. They seem to love writing tickets.

Small Swimbait Shipment is Here. Now one question...
Tried the Luckycraft Real California for about 30 minutes today. The action is OK, but I was wondering if those of you who have used it use it a couple inches below the surface, or on the topwater like a wakebait? I noticed that the action isn't that great under the water, but as a wakebait it has a great action.

Successful fishing from a boat
I personally don't own a boat, but my uncle has a sick boat, and a couple of my buddies have nice boats. Whenever we go to a lake that is new to us we sometimes drive all around close to shore, or a little deeper, and when there are fish on the fish finder thats always a good sign that there are bass in the area. This is especially good to do if you are shiner fishing. Another thing is to slowly cruise around and just look at the contours, every good brush pile that my uncle fishes he found himself, no one told him where they were. Also, in Spring fishing the shore like you do is good! Thats also a really fun way to fish. Just don't run the trolling motor too long without cranking up the boat!!

High, my name is Lee, and I am a fishaholic
Better watch out or you will get tired and end up inshore like the older dudes in my family!

Even Berkley is on to hollow paddle tail baits
It is going to be the same as when the senko hit big. I'm sure Yum and Bass Pro shops already has prototypes.. : For sure. When will all the other manufacturers beside basstrix make a hollow bodied minnow/jerkbait? Is it always about the paddletail? Thats not even new, the real breakthrough is the whole hollow-bodied aspects of these lures.

lucky craft?
Do you have a scale?

Small Swimbait Shipment is Here. Now one question...
I've been posting a lot, asking questions about small swimbaits. Now I can go fish with them. For the heck of it I also ordered one of the Luckycraft swimbaits, not the one that looks like a trout. Has anyone ever fished with one of these? I'll post pictures if I catch anything with this Luckycraft lure.

Tilapia in the Lakes
****O.K. just looked it up. The juvenile blue tilapia look just like the mattlures bluegill/tilapia pattern. He made the pattern match a juvenile

Tilapia in the Lakes
The tilapia here are Blue Tilapia. Our government also stocks them, I believe to control west nile virus. I don't think they have a stripe pattern, so the mattlures swimbait I bought is not really a good match, but I'm sure it will work well. Found a good article that answered some of my questions http://myfwc.com/fishing/fishes/non-native.html

Tilapia in the Lakes
A couple days ago I was ordering a Mattlures Bluegill and was not sure which pattern to buy. I decided on the Tilapia pattern because the majority of the lakes near where I live are full of them. They tend to be right next to the shore, an a lot of them will be in one spot. If you're beating the bank and get even remotely close to them, they scatter because they are so skittish. Every once in a while if you look closely you will see a bunch of them scatter and make a big splash, because you know a bass is going after 'em. Do you guys ever see this, or are the Tilapia only down south? Do you believe it is smart to buy lures that are patterned to match Tilapia, or do bass feed on them too rarely for it to be of much help?

Booyah Dancing Buzzbait
I hardly ever fished buzzbaits until I bought some cavitrons. I have caught bass in places with the cavitron, where I would have never even considered throwing a buzzbait. I also used to only throw a buzzbait in ponds for fun, but now whenever I'm on the boat on the real lakes I will consider throwing a cavitron. The buzzbait has really found it's niche in my fishing.

Mattlures Bluegill Series
Well I ordered last night for overnight priority off of tackle warehouse. Should get here tomorrow. I ordered a baby bass mattlures in largemouth pattern, and I ordered a bluegill in the tilapia pattern. I figured the tilapia pattern would be great because just about every lake I fish is infested with tilapia, especially around the shore. Sometimes you see and hear a whole bunch of them dart away, and it makes a bunch of big splashes, that's because Ms. Bass is sweeping through the area! Next time she will be biting my new swimbait. P.S. Chris at Tech, did you watch the Sugar Bowl?

Gimmick or Great Idea?

Gimmick or Great Idea?
http://www.illex.fr/leurreillex.php?l=BUN54 I think this lure would definitely be effective. The colorado blade is a great idea IMO. What do you all think?
