  1. Quit fishing hardbaits, when I know soft plastics would do better.
  2. i live right across the street from FAU. let me know when you get here, i will dial you in on all of the local walking spots. Wow that is awesome! Don't leave the forums, because I will need to PM you!
  3. I dont care about another bill lewis, I have plenty that are way better.
  4. Sick! Boca is plenty south of west palm. It also has a lot of canals. I bet a peacock wont pass up a one of my vision 110's 8-) And I'm going to be the first to throw the Big Swimbait at em! I bet it will kill it!! ;D
  5. I fail to see the stupidity :-? In my opinion, I believe that slitting the tail will give you more action, but leaving the tail intact may give you more vibration (thump) but it really depends on how you work it. Roger Thanks ROLO I have had moderate success leaving it intact, I'm going to split it and see how I like it.
  6. That is awesome! Next year I will be moving to Boca Raton because I am going to FAU. Do you know if there are peacock bass there?
  7. This may be the stupidest question ever, do you split that tail on the sweet beaver or leave it attached when using it as a trailer?
  8. boo jigs are the first I ever tried

  15. That fish looks bigger on my moniter, but I was trying to get a close up of the lure. That fish was probably less than a pound. It was possibly 14 inches... dink.
  16. Forgot one, fishbelly
  17. I used to throw that lure a lot. I Have a white/gold one. A little too lightweight, but it is an awesome producer.
  18. Kinami is produced in the same factory as Yamamoto. Now, there is no doubt I could be wrong about this, but I thought I read somewhere that Kinami is Mr. Gary Yamamoto's son's line of bait??? dude are you kidding? They are exactly the same. Even the price, look at the count per bag. Kinami has less...
  19. looks great, but I would hate to buy a trout swimbait, even though I'm pretty sure it is the action that triggers a bass to strike. It is a confidence thing. The big bass where I live feed on Tilapia, bluegill, red ear, and shad. I just can't buy a swimbait that looks like a trout. Last week I almost bought a huddleston deluxe, but I didn't. Pretty soon I will buy one and see if it works here. You should beat me to it and buy a trout swimbait and see if it works! John
  20. Last summer I was fishing with my uncle in mosquito lagoon and caught at least 20 ladyfish. Oh yeah and my uncle found and caught a big redfish. Plus I caught 5 speckled trout (picture in "got any good fishing pictures" thread)
  21. That looks like an awesome jerkbait. I might have to check one out (I mean buy one)
  22. those pfluegar lures that you always see in sale bins, and the fishing department at the Orlando Bass Pro because those dudes act like they know what they are talking about, but don't have a clue! What happened to the guys in there last year that were really helpful?
