  1. I had a great afternoon of fishing yesterday with the gambler giggy snake. It came out with those other ones, but it does not have a hollow tail. I just T-rigged it.
  2. Does this lake have a lot of fertilizer run-off? Its head should not concave like that, its like a mutant... I have caught stunted bass...but that doesn't look like what i'm talking about
  3. Man, I think it sounds better than Bass Pro. When is bass pro going to start carrying roboworm and reaction innovations? There is no where to get roboworm around orlando. I can get a hold of reaction innovations at the lake toho tackle shop (which is awesome and has basically everything) does anyone know where I can get roboworm around orlando? PS the bass pro staff are usually very knowledgeable. I wouldn't be surprised if they logged on to this forum every once in a while. At the bass pro here the old inshore guys are great. they love to talk to you and give great tips that aren't cliche or something ive heard a million times. They don't seem to be just trying to sell my something.
  4. Watermelon Red Flake! kills it. I always have this color for the majority of my plastics. Try the green/ red core. One time I had an amazing day using a bag of those.
  5. I wish we had smallmouth around here...
  6. It says on the site that they carry roboworm, which is definitely a plus.
  7. > What you did was illegal I am not the police but I still wouldnt broadcast that you did this . I catch nuisance gators for a living. It requires a special Permit and agents license. Relocation doesnt work with gators they can find their way back from over 200 miles. Also what you have done is educate this alligator about people . Now he will be harder to catch next time when he becomes a problem. Thanks ! I can go on and on with the things people do wrong about gators . When you find another that is a problem call 1-866-FWC-GATOR and your countys trapper will take care of it . You could get fines and possibly time in jail for doing what you did. Just remember that next time OK baby Gators are not fun ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ I made the news a few days ago , we got a problem gator call and had to catch a small gator out of a swimming pool. here is a video clip. The little guy was tough to run down in a pool we didnt wanna set the hook in him with the fishing pole because it might puncture a lung so I waited till he came up for air and got him with a rope http://www.wftv.com/video/14228019/detail.html Here is a 9 1/2 footer that was relocated to the meat processor When did I say the gator was a nuiscence? It was just a baby gator. I dont see why you would call the law. If I had a gator that was a problem I would call a professional. Baby Gators in this area are already used to people... if that matters. I guess you were never a kid once that was fascinated by florida wildlife?
  8. No, I wish. NEW SMYRNA FOR LIFE. MY RAMP: NORTH CANAVERAL NATIONAL SEASHORE
  9. well i didnt know he was a big bass guide, just saw the website. I like to catch a lot
  10. I really do not believe that anyones average is 8 to 9 pounds. Those bass you see in the bass pro tank here in orlando are between 7 and 10 lbs, besides that one 14 lber. Bass this big are catches of a lifetime for most. that bass on your picture is a great one, but I don't think you average bass in that range. maybe you do not weigh your fish and just guess? I know many people that will catch a five pounder and think it is a 10 pounder before they weigh it...
  11. a few days ago had a great day using my new yozuri rattletrap i bought in baby bass. Single colorado silver bade white skirt spinnerbait. Blue/black strike kind jig with kinami noires bug trailer. the day after that did horrible using the kinami palm tree.
  12. Ive noticed that the bite has been the slowest Ive ever seen it until last week.
  13. Learned that I WAS using the palm tree right!!! haha thanks roadwarrior
  14. I will give that a shot
  15. just 2 people per boat every boat for themselves
  16. It will be tommorow night from 7 to 11. Its that ramp near Orange. First there and paid, first number called off. 25$ Five bass limit, lately winners have been around 8 to 12 lbs combined weight. Its usually about 15 boats. Not really anyone fishes the shore line, they mostly fish brush piles. I WONT BE THERE! Im not in town but I wish I could be. Have fun.
  17. Does anybody here know about that little 25$ tournament every wednesday night here in orlando on the conway chain? I fish it every couple weeks and I was wondering if anyone else here did, or if they would like to.
  18. thanks, I hope it was the wrong day, i was letting them fall on a slack line before slow-fishing them back.
  19. I bought a bag of black/blue skirt and a bag of pumpkin/christmas skirt kinami palm trees. Yesterday afternoon went fishing with my buddy on his boat for 3 hours. I fished them weightless rightside up and upside down targeting areas that I would typically throw a senko at, and fished them similar to how I fish a senko. Is there a better way to use palm trees? I managed to get one hit, i landed that fish which was probably a tiny 14 ounces.
  20. This gator was just chilling in this little muddy area in the 'hood so i steve irwined him, but didnt hurt him. Baby gators are pretty cool
  21. My sister introduced to the buzzbait (bass released, duhhh)
  22. Thanks for the tips speckled trout
  23. Have always been an inshore fisherman, so was (and still is) my father, who never bass fished. But one day a couple years ago I saw some guy fishing on the golfcourse i live on and he caught a huge bass. I mean I knew about bass fishing, but i didn't really think that fishing for bass could be nearly as fun as catching redfish and trout. well a grabbed my shimano stradic with braid and a chartruese zara spook, and on the first cast, caught a pretty big bass. I had no idea how hard they fight, this bass made any speckled trout i ever caught look like a bream. Since then I have fallen in love with bass fishing, and increased my knowledge and tactics dramatically.
