Frugally Fishing

Thanks guys. Been eyeing the Ark rods mentioned.

My current jig rod is an older (2003ish) Loomis GL3 7'2" Heavy/Fast. This rod fishes great with my preferred 1/4 or 3/8 jigs on 15lb FC. Are there any current rods in the less than $200 range that would match the sensitivity/performance of my old Loomis? Reason for asking is that I'm needing to go to a shorter rod(6'6",7", 8", or 9") due to being a back of the boat, sit down down kinda fisherman these days.

Been visiting Bass Resource off and on for several years finally decided to sign up. Been bass fishing off and on since I was a kid (born in '63). Bass fished like a fool thru the 90's, gave it up in '04 when my brother (and fishing partner) passed. Retired in 2013, fished a little here and there. Picked it back up when the Covid plague hit. Now in my 2nd season of fishing with the Backwaters Bass Club here in Southern Illinois.
