Well, I figured out the reel seating issue. There was a small piece of what looked like that clear price tag plastic up near the threads jamming up the works. But I still think I’ll buy a Feather ?

I’m interested in the Phenix Feather. I finally got a good workout on the TFO Tactical/Curado BFS setup I just got. 10 fish, biggest was almost 3 pounds. So much fun on a ML rod. The problem is the reel doesn’t mount tight enough in the rod. Will the Feather ML handle 1/15 head Ned’s? It’s a hair over 1/4oz total. I won’t cast anything lighter than that so I don’t think I’d need to drop down to the light.

At least once but usually 2-3 days a week. I put it all away from October until the end of January. That's when my avatar & I are out chasing waterfowl.

I really don't need one of these. But I'm tempted to give Lew's a chance at this price. Those who have ordered one how did it ship? USP/FedEx or USPS?

I use them. I’ve spent too much money on my gear to not keep it protected. I even put 5 reel covers on my last TW order. I don’t have a rod locker in my boat so I want everything protected when I’m towing.

What do you shoot on the back 9? ?

Not on Shimano reels. I did order a ton of line from them yesterday and I’m going to order some jigs shortly.

You’ve still got to experiment on your own. What some guys love here other guys hate. You have to see what works for you.

I am thinking about moving it to my heavy jig rod and getting a Curado 150 MGL for the Toadface.

I put mine on a ALX Toadface. I use it for most everything over around 3/8.
