It’s the first two guides from the reel that are tilted slightly to the right. The other guides seem to line up fine

I just realized on my Dobyns fury spinning rod the off the guides are just slightly off center. Will this affect performance at all?

When you guys are fishing with a spinning rod should your drag slip even a little bit a hook set? I’ve watched videos and it seems some guys fish extremely light drag where that’s all you gets when they’re fighting a fish and other guys you don’t hear the drag at all

I’m actually looking to purchase this exact rod. Going to pair it with a bg 2500. The guy at the tackle shop said the bg may be too heavy for the rod but extra weight in a reel doesn’t seem to bother me much. is it more of an extra fast or fast?

Does anyone have this rod? Particularly the 7’3” medium? I’m looking to get this rod as a general purpose spinning rod to walk the bank with when I’m only able to use one rod. Rod will be used for small keitech swimbaits, small jerkbaits, 1/4oz topwater and senkos. Will be pairing it with a Daiwa bg 2500 Thanks

Maybe because the power pro is a stiffer braid?

Never happened with any other reel

Spooled up my 2500 bg with 15lb power pro. Went out fishing and when fishing a senko or any other slack line technique the line would bunch up loosely at the bottom of the spool. The reels line lay is perfect when spooling or retrieving a lure in steadily. How do you prevent this?

Spooled up fresh green power pro and my line roller is now green from the line. Is this normal?

I’ve had a reel that I spooled new braid onto either last year or the year before. The reel hasn’t been used at all is the line still good on the reel?

What size ewg do you guys use for these?

I know a few guys around me that refuse to use em because it’s all anyone seems throw around these parts. I’ve caught some good fish on em but there always seems to be a better option

What do you guys do? I usually just leave it in tote in my basement and keep it out of direct sunlight and heat

I use regular 4” swing impact and 4” easy shiner exclusively

My only concern was the popper may be too heavy?

How will this rod work for just walking the bank taking one rod mainly throwing 1/4oz poppers, small finesse worms, keitech swing impact on 1/8oz jighead and strike king mini 1/8oz soinnerbaits

Yup I come from a saltwater background and they’re heavily used around these parts

Looking at a new spinning reel. Wanna keep at $100 I’ve narrowed it down to the Shimano nasci and the Daiwa bg 2500. What would you choose and why?

5” senko/dinger 1/0 or #1 neko hook 15lb braid sometimes leader sometimes not. The worm doesn’t move through the water the way it falls

When I drag/pop the worm in the water the worm spins. Is this normal? I’ve tried o rings, silicone sleeves and also just hooking through the bait.

The most fish I’ve caught on a Texas rigged senko was maybe 4-5 and that was biting the head off and readjusting the bait many times

I mainly fish shallow weedy ponds besides senkos and flukes do you guys fish power worms, creature baits and trick worms weightless?
