Snagged and lost a lucky A-rig last weekend, bummer but it caught 100+ fish so it lived a good life. I'm down to my last mini rig so time for a fall restock. Punch fishing 15% code took out some of the sting.

Something odd I noticed with the current TW promo, they seem to be adding a 2 week shipping delay on all qualifying orders. I can put 4 sale items in my cart and the estimated delivery date is tomorrow, add 1 more of the same item to trigger the lowest discount tier and the delivery estimate goes to 10/08. Never seen them do this before and can't confirm since I haven't placed an order. Anyone else noticing slow shipping times on their sale orders?

Bit of a bummer with a happy ending. Found this morning not on the bank but in a very much alive and distressed seagull. I guess someone hooked it, cut their line and bailed. Bird was hooked through the foot and backside with braid wrapped completely around its head and beak. Couple crushed barbs and some snip snip and bird was released.

First keeper striper of the season this morning on a duo pencil 110. Had a head and shoulders but was dang skinny, surprising with the amount of baitfish in the water right now. Donated to one of guys bait fishing the bank for dinner vs sport. Had another 7-8 rats on a tailspin, underspin & finesse swimbait

Yep we have the sickness hehe, I have a pair of Bantams and Metaniums as well and technically a second Aldebaran in BFS trim.

I thought they would have released a new version by this point but I'm not sure what they could improve. If the current 50 ever goes on closeout I'm definitely getting a second.

Aldebaran slings jerks like nothing else I've tried and sub 5oz feels like nothing in your hand, big plus when you're working a bait all day.

It seems to jump around, they haven't run it for a few weeks so hopefully we see some more 20 and 25% days in the future.

Fished for 16 hours straight Friday-Saturday, had 5 bites, that was a rough one for sure. 9 hours into the trip after throwing everything and the kitchen sink at em... first fish. 2nd bite was a wakeup, new PB @ 5lb 14oz. also ate the firecraw cb. picked up 3 on the pop-x at change of light including this drag pulling (bfs) monster

I'm excited for the fall run to kick off but I might have been a few weeks early. Lots of fish activity today but not exactly the size I'm after. gave up on the striper and senko'd up a few bass before heading home.

I've handled a Trigon in store and the grip didn't seem bad but I've never fished one so no clue how it actually performs on the water.

Speaking of fast, I don't know how they did it but my ALF order jumped from Indiana to CA overnight and is already out for delivery.

I did notice the Kaden shipped super quick this go around, nice after the 1 month wait for my 704CB. It did actually ship from ALF rather than drop shipping from Dobyns this time, I wonder if they keep the lower price models on hand or if they're shifting away from drop shipping for Dobyns.

If you're just starting out get a couple packs of 5" Yamamoto senkos in green pumpkin and some zoom salty super flukes in baby bass and pearl white. You can fish both on the same hook 3/0 or 4/0 gamakatsu ewg Texas rigged weedless.
