I grabbed a Raid GI swimbait for $20 and a bunch of my favorite 2.5 mayors.

They basically did if the listed specs are to believed, the new Zillion 150 is dang close to a Curado 300 in terms of line capacity. It holds significantly more than the deepest 34mm mag-z boost spool that will fit in the current zillion frame.

@LGDFW they added a couple new models in split grip config to the frenzy line recently.

Pitzen for all plastic lines, I'll tie a double when lures are getting over 1.5oz or so. Palomar or snell for braid. FG/Alberto/Uni-uni as required for leaders.

@GetFishorDieTryin I think endurx fishes pretty similar to 832 but it doesn't seem to have much of a break in period, and the color doesn't bleed at all. It will fade a little bit over time with sun and water exposure but you can drag brand new line through a wet towel and not a single speck of color bleeds out.

Yes the rods are still good. I can only speak to personal experience with the warranty post gsm and it has been positive for me. Needed new tip guides for 2 rods they shipped them no cost within a week, buddy broke a rod and upgraded to another model in the Kaden line also had no issues got his new rod in about a week after they had received the old rod segment.

Yum ultralight for $13 Similar size to the bladeless hog farmer "mini" rigs which aren't all that mini, perfect for ~3.75-4" main baits. They come pre-bent so you don't have to do anything but attach heads and teasers. They don't include screw locks or any other terminal for non hooked baits so you will need dummy heads or CPS springs.

Waded through countless rats this year, finally a quality bite! Felt great to hook into something that actually made some runs and bent the rod.

I like the netbait t mac, but I fish them with a crossover ring so can't speak to durability just hooking through the plastic. They're also $5 for a 20 pack so losing my weight when it does happen hurts more than the worm.

@bishoptf yeah the nearest bass pros here are Manteca and San Jose, an hour+ drive to either. Not sure about San Jose but I know dsg doesn't have a Manteca location so they're not even trying to compete there.

I use a Champ XP 704CB/SLX 70 MGL spooled with 10lb Yo Zuri hybrid. Straight fluoro might be better for a dedicated jerkbait rod but as an all around "anything with trebles" setup it's perfect.

Bank fishing I try to fish parallel to the bank, I can usually walk past a snag and pop it out. On the boat unless it's stuck in deep wood usually just move over the bait and pop it loose. If it's in wood shallow I can usually pop it off with the tip of the rod, risking a tip guide but it is what it is. If I really get hung up I wrap the line around a dowel and break off at the knot.

Mostly striper weekend, but I did run into one nice bass trying to disguise himself by hiding with a school of carp.

Middle rod might be a hair heavy on the left of the spool, but it's not fresh line.

All 3 of my mets have quite wiggly line guides but they spool up even no issues. 2xjdm 100 and a usdm 150.
