  1. I throw weightless Senkos and 1/16oz Neko rigs with a Dobyns fury 733 and a tatula 100 spooled with 10lb yo zuri hybrid. It could definitely handle a light shakey head, weightless fluke, etc. It's my absolute favorite junk fishing combo, it can really do just about anything.
  2. Watermelon slice laminate. Works great and they're always under $5 a pack on Amazon.
  3. I haven't tried the X but the current 100 is my workhorse. I think I picked up 4 while they could still be had on Amazon for $129. JDM price even with fees I think is right around usdm price of the X so I would still go 100. Also even as a huge fan of the tat elite I have to admit the new camel toe frame is better.
  4. Pex8 on spinners Pline endurx on casting, but most rods are fluoro or copolymer.
  5. 12lb invizx is about the same diameter as 8lb big game. I would start there.
  6. Dissolve some baking soda in water and keep it in a spritz bottle. It will set gel type super glue instantly.
  7. Dink day ultralight fishing the bank with a buddy Only relatively decent bass of the day, fun fight on a 0 power rod. Got 10 mixed panfish as well including some chunky red ears
  8. Yeah a few options to cover everything small to large-ish. Poison Adrena 74HR Expride 77HMF Spro KGB Chad Shad 79HM Champ XP 794.5AR IMX Pro 966SWBR
  9. I use yo zuri hybrid copolymer on almost all of my top water rods, works great. Diameter is pretty big so I usually treat the 10 like 12, 12 like 15 and so on. The 15lb is roughly same diameter as 20lb fluoro.
  10. Looks like the hawg hound body just missing the props. Maybe you got a prototype or something? If google image search cant find anything with a super clean source photo like yours it's a mystery.
  11. Copper State 20% off swimbaits, of course like 2 days after I bought a swimbait from them.
  12. Abu Zenon reels on closeout at TW 42-45% off
  13. @KP Duty Yeah I'm still the same with rods. I have no issue importing reels and baits/terminal but I would be really nervous about breaking an imported rod with no US warranty.
  14. Because the average consumer doesn't even know this is an option
  15. @Big Hands Any body of water, I've even had it happen in the garage when it gets cold/humid enough to sweat salt out of baits. Couldn't find any wrecked Senkos in the garage but this is a good example of a salt infused bait eating its hook when left rigged.
  16. As they're exposed to water they will leach and loose some salt but it's not enough to change the sink rate or action in my opinion. They will destroy hooks if left on a t rig so any weedless Senkos that survive a day are unrigged.
  17. @10,000 lakes Bassin The Bantam really doesn't feel as heavy as advertised being so compact, and on a slightly tip heavy rod it's amazing. I have mine on an Expride 77H and 72MHG and wouldn't want a lighter reel on either.
  18. Limited visibility like you described, or deep (Z3). I'm just a sucker for blue back chartreuse.
  19. Met from the end of April has found a home, Poison Adrena 74HR. And a very ambitious 7" swimbait eater to get the skunk off.
  20. I don't have to choose thank you very much haha I have a ton of both.
  21. Mono 4-60lb, Trilene XL and Big game. Everything from backing to mainline and leaders for the bay. Copoly 6-35lb, Yo Zuri Hybrid and Ultragreen. BFS, mainline, leaders. Fluoro 6-20lb, mainline on casting reels. Everything from BFS to big swimbaits. InvizX, Tatsu, Assassin, Samurai Blue Label dedicated leader 6-20lb. Braid 10ish lb (0.185mm) to 80lb. Spinning rods, heavy cover rods, bay rods. PEX8, 832, EndurX, MaxQuatro
  22. Found a gunmetal shad Pointer 100 in the rocks, front hook rusted away, back hook down to two points. No cracks, no air bubbles when I held it underwater. Scrubbed it as well as I could, some of the dirt is fully baked on at this point and actually looks shiny like it's under the clear coat. 3 new split rings and new hooks and it's going into my arsenal.
  23. @KP Duty I like my 75 bottom contact but wouldn't buy it again at full retail. $250 is much more reasonable.
