  1. Copper State 25% off all fishing line, no code needed, through 3/8
  2. Adding a few evo mini color options, plus some misc terminal.
  3. @Joedodge the Evo mini is a tackle warehouse exclusive so you won't find them anywhere else. First time trying them, I've always used the regular mini previously. Feels like they do start up and vibrate a little harder than the standard, and the skirt length out of the pack is perfect for the 3.5 spunk shad.
  4. Biggest of 3 on the evo minimax this morning
  5. Halibut on a 3.75 rage swimmer this morning.
  6. Another 1 bite day. 1/2oz football in about 20ft.
  7. The Amazon deals on Dobyns seems to have stopped. I haven't seen any meaningful discounts for a couple months. Far fewer models available prime these days too.
  8. I trim the skirt on the mini, spunk shad still my go-to
  9. @Jerkbait22 I just signed into the new site with my old ALF email and it's showing my full ALF order history and my points balance is still there.
  10. Mainly bank. I have a friend who is kind enough to take me out on the boat from time to time. Boat is in the long term plans but I'm not looking to buy a second vehicle to tow it any time soon.
  11. I have enough reels for every rod, plus a couple floaters at this point. Spinners are pretty fixed but casting reels move between rods from time to time depending what I'm doing that day.
  12. @Goggle Eyes The Keitech ball is good but the bait keeper sucks, I have to use superglue to keep baits on those heads. I like the Nako tungsten ball heads, but their prices have been steadily climbing as they have made a name for themselves (even TW is selling them these days). They used to be a great value on Amazon. VMC tungsten moon eye is another good options for a ball head, but price isn't great.
  13. First striper of the year, only bite of the day.
  14. @TNBankFishing The Curado rods really should be Shimano's core ~$200 line but they really seem to not care about those rods at all. Surprising considering how popular the Curado reels are.
  15. I only own the full size explorer gill in the floating model so the weights are definitely a must for tuning down to slow sink or suspend. But you can do the same with lead wire or upsized hardware.
  16. 2.5 mayor on a 1/16 #2 6th sense crappie head. Karashi. Not a huge surprise they suck to cast if you have any head wind. I also think the sink rate is a little too quick and nose heavy but should be an easy fix with slightly smaller hooks/split rings. The baitsanity gill out of the pack has a very nice low float, almost suspending action on 6lb fluoro. with the 2 tungsten weights applied just ahead and behind the front hook hanger it's a very slow sink, perfectly horizontal and sits upright on the hook on bottom.
  17. Both of my examples had rear hooks that didn't want to release from the tail. Found a chunk of rubber I assume was supposed to be protecting the hook point jammed down the shank and inside the body. Once that was cleared the hooks released properly. The tiny tungsten weights are also a bit of a pain, needed tweezers to remove the backing and place them. I left one unweighted to compare.
  18. Not expecting a bite but I should get a chance to test them and the bucca this weekend
  19. Grabbed a couple of the Baitsanity micro gills
  20. Tackle Warehouse spring sale is up, select items only.
  21. Flashy swimmer for anything ~3.25"+ For bfs these days I'm liking the great lakes finesse sneaky but the price isn't great so gotta get them during sales.
  22. @ATA I purchased from discount tackle via amazon, their storefront is departureoutdoors
  23. Grabbed a Bucca BFS trick shad from discount tackle These are being advertised everywhere as 3/8oz, even on the box. Bucca you are bad at math. Also not sure why they would recommend a specific 0 power BFS rod but a 70 size reel and such heavy line. This and the wrong weight advertised is going to confuse a lot of people. Actual weight 4.52 grams, just a hair over 5/32oz
  24. Copper State Tackle 25% off hard and soft swimbaits, no code.
