  1. @F14A-B they said a full lineup breakdown video is coming in the next couple weeks I think
  2. The hookup tackle mentioned in their weekly video today MSRP is not changing, but release isn't until late summer/fall so well see if anything changes by then.
  3. I have issues with panfish attacking connection knots so I run ~25ft leader to keep the knot out of the water and less retying. Plain old uni to uni on spinning never had a problem with it hanging up in the guides.
  4. Nah not counting anything, when a box is full it's time for a new box. That's just the 2 hook spooks without feather trebles. I'm like a crow with shiny things.
  5. At least recently (last year?) it was an exclusive in the 110 for American legacy fishing and they're out of business now.
  6. I popped down to my local dsg and grabbed 3 packs of 3.5 mooch minnows for $9.52 out the door. No minimum in store just 50% off.
  7. Strike king and Z man are both buy 3 get 3 as of today Edit: Looks like only certain strike king and z man items, it's not brand wide unfortunately
  8. By design, I want the hook up flush without a loop remaining. I haven't tried leaving a loop so I don't know if it slips.
  9. 2 on the dropshot yesterday
  10. I use the dropper loop as my standard drop shot knot, but no loop remains, it's all pulled up tight.
  11. @casts_by_fly the price on restricted items should drop on the 2nd checkout page where they ask for payment details. I just tested with an expride and it worked fine, $329 in cart but $280 on payment page.
  12. They messed something up early in the last sale too, discount showed in the cart but didn't adjust price for any items. I'd say give it till 9am PST they will probably get it sorted.
  13. Never seen keitech in my local dsg clearance, it's always just a mountain of yum dingers
  14. Daiwa j fluoro samurai has been really good to me in lighter test lb, I run a lot of invizx but didn't like it in 6lb for bfs.
  15. Not really for different line types but yes for light vs heavy line. I crack them on 12+ fluoro but BFS basically never set the hook. All it takes is a light sweep of the rod and tension on the line and they're hooked.
  16. Regular glides helicopter bad enough, this thing looks like it might fly back like a boomerang and hit me in the head. 7+oz is a little out of my range too.
  17. @Dangerfield I would be interested to also put it head to head with the dxb 75mhh for $129 but they have been sold out for ages.
  18. I use a mix of alternating half hitch and a 7 loop rizzuto. However you finish those knots have to be super tight. I pinch the knot and yank the tag end on every hitch, rizzuto I grab the tag with my teeth and pull that sucker TIGHT.
  19. @Dangerfield I have the 75 bottom contact as well, using it mostly for T-rigs, C-rigs, wobble heads, weightless or semi weightless plastics, used for dragging a football jig as well which it can do fine but not my preferred rod. The rod is fine, but not something super special. Daiwa cheaped out a little on these considering the price tag, guide train especially isn't even advertised accurately. TW lists the rod as 9+tip which is wrong, it's 8+tip and all alconite guides after Daiwa had initially teased SiC, basically equal to a $260 Zodias. The handle is also just a touch short for my preference, not too short like some rods I've tried but personal preference I wish the reel seat was about an inch forward. Reel seat is super comfortable, no complaints there.
  20. @Pat Brown 2ft of water in January is crazy! My bites were all coming in 30+
  21. 2026 first bass on the board
  22. Yeah but it's a pita. I can't tie it using and sort of hand tension methods, got to have both hands free. I put my rod over the back of a chair and use my foot to hold the main line under tension. Then initial wraps have to be extremely tight, if the knot isn't tight enough in the initial wraps you will never get it cinched down or will end up with the wraps separating and big kinks in the main line.
  23. I've ruined 2 boxes now just being stupid with discarded soft plastics in my tackle bag/box while bank fishing. They turn into liquid sticky plastic glue lol, it's awful.
