What's Your Most Productive Spinnerbait Color?
I'm interested in those articles, if you happen to have the links to them handy, or could give me an idea of what to search for to better help me find them.

What lures should I throw?
I thought topwater was a given. For topwater, my favorite is the Heddon Spit'n Image. Buzzbaits are always a favorite for me as well. Jitterbugs, have given me some nice mornings too. And poppers should not be overlooked. I'd like to try some of those more weird topwaters, like the LunkerHunts Spider. I have a friend that has one and we used it to scare the heck out of a lady we know, but as far as I know he's never caught anything on it.

Lure stockpile storage
I lose them about as quick as I can buy them. At least the ones I use regularly. I do like trying new things though so I occasionally buy a new variety.

Thanks. My scale reads in pounds and ounces. So it's 3 pounds 14 ounces. So... nearly 4 pounds if accurate.

The Found Lures Thread
I cleaned up the little swim bait, put new hooks on it, and fashioned a new tail for it. I had a bite on it the next time out, right at shore, and jerked the bait away too soon. Then I lost it in the spot where the limbs came from.

The Found Lures Thread
@riverratryan and I pulled in this gob. It'd been pretty close to shore, and we both had lost lures on it. And we both had snagged lures off it too. So we grappled it with paracord and in she came. It wasn't the $100 haul we were hoping for. I tied on the super spot and lost it in about 5 minutes. Ryan tied on a magnet in hopes to snag a few lures from the spot the limbs had been, and caught this monster.

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that.

Not had a lot of fishing days lately, and thus, not a lot of action, but I did manage a few. This is a Warmouth. I'd never caught one before. He was plenty feisty. Makes a man wonder how much his cheapo scale is off. Guess I'll have to have something weighed at the post office and see how close it really is.

Texas Rigging a Grub
I haven't fished a curly tail grub much in the last little while. Yesterday I was fishing a texas rigged lizard, and I was getting small fish nipping at my bait, so I decided to throw on a grub to see if I could get one. The lizards were green pumpkin, and I happened to have some grubs in that color with me. Zoom Fat Albert Grubs in green pumpkin, rigged with a 1/0 Ozark Trails hook, and a 1/16 oz bullet weight. I felt a nibble, then some pressure... Very nice bass with a huge maw! I didn't have any trouble hooking up with the standard gap worm hook.

Clermont Florida Fishing
LOL, yeah. It could be this year, but more likely a year or two. I've been thinking about it a year already.

Clermont Florida Fishing
My wife's kin lives in Clermont. I'm in the planning stages of a trip down there for a visit. While she visits her sister, I plan on visiting the water! I Googled and saw plenty of water around there. Are there any particular places (fishing or otherwise) that anyone would recommend? I do not have a bass boat. I do have a plastic bass tracker though that I'll probably take. So bank fishing and kayak access/electric friendly is what I'm looking at. What time of year would be best for bass fishing? Spring to fall like everywhere else? I'm just in the planning phases right now - probably this will be several years out, but I am quite excited lol.

What's Your Most Productive Spinnerbait Color?
I appreciate everyone sharing. I watched this video earlier. Jimmy like chartreuse and white, white, firetiger, and blue/yellow/white. Very interesting information he gives.

What's Your Most Productive Spinnerbait Color?
Awesome replies, thanks everyone. That gives me a lot to chew on. I have a black, and a black with chartreuse tips. I've tried them both a very limited a mount. When folks are saying black and chartreuse, I assume we're talking about black on top and chartreuse on bottom?

What's Your Most Productive Spinnerbait Color?
I've been thinking about spinnerbait colors. I've had success with orangish/sunfish and white. I don't think I've ever had success with anything else. Maybe because I rarely throw anything else, though I do try others occasionally. I was checking ebay out, and I ran across these really bright skirts, I don't think I've ever seen skirts/spinnerbaits that were actually bright like this, most are dull. How would they do? What colors are everyone's sleeper colors? The colors that your normal person might see but not normally consider. Thanks all, John

Caught Fish on Found Lures
I got this little Warmouth on a huge hook that I found. I think it was a 5/0 Gamakatsu that I lost in the summer. Pretty feisty little guy. Guess they are called Warmouth for their appetite.

Anyone ever lose interest in fishing and have it come back?
I lost interest from about 24 until about 38. Not because I didn't want to, but because I lost my fishing spots, and other things got in the way. Bass fishing is not my only love, and for a long time, guns/reloading/casting took top priority. Now they sort of share. For me, fishing is a part of the love of the outdoors. I want to impart that love to my boy, so, fishing is very kid friendly, but guns aren't as much. He does love to watch me shoot clay pigeons, but he doesn't get to shoot yet since he's only 4. He can however cast and reel, so fishing is more his speed.

I need help doing this this jerkbait I found the other day. I put hooks on it and fished it today. It has a good action. No makings. It appears to be good quality, though my first instinct was it was cheap.

Plastic Pontoon Bass Boat Questions
I do have a new idea that I'm stewing over; Remove the live well/cooler and use that access to remove the water logged foam. Then, fill the cavity with empty plastic bottles. This will give emergency buoyancy and also be light weight. I don't see any reason it wouldn't work, and work well. The foam isn't structural in that area. The only downside is that the plywood under the floor area is likely rotted, though the foam is not water logged as best I can tell from feeling through the livewell access hole. That foam doesn't seem to need to be replaced.

Plastic Pontoon Bass Boat Questions
I am not sure what that are called older than a box stapler. I was thinking to find a used one cheap, but that doesn't look like it'll happen. Thanks I'm leaning that way. It'll be the cheapest and easiest, and It'll be about the easiest to remove later on.
