The stocking foot wader goes inside the boot or wading shoe specifically designed for rocky slipper wet surfaces. I always used stocking foot water for decades because of better ankle support will. Shoe/boot that fits. The rubber boot molded onto a wader provides little ankle support because it must be able to slip on/off. Tom

Tie the arbor knot next to the pin and put light line pressure on the line and wind the line onto the spool, it will catch the pin. Tom

Instead of picking up your top water rod turn on your sonar unit and survey the marina where you launched. Determine at what depth the life zone is before tacking a rod out of the locker! Running and gunning is a habit supported by warm water period success that fades and turns off as the water cools. Ask your self if you want to catch bass or practice casting? Yes, the 3M Nano resin was a big breakthrough in fishing rod thin wall high strength flexible graphite. China doesn’t honor US patents or intellectual property, one reason I try to avoid products manufactured there. Tom

Pure Fishing as I recall has licensed 3M Nano resin technology imagine the rod blank would be excellent. Didn’t know Garcia had anything made in Japan, my understanding it’s made in China as is Shimano Zodias in bold white white letters! Deal breaker for me. Tom

While on a business trip to GD Electric Boat I stopped by a early FLW tournament held Northeast (Connecticut) River during flood stage. With few exceptions Injected molded plastisol requires higher molding temperatures to flow and fill the cavities in production molding. Hand pour plastisol is usually poured lower temps and softer plus higher flotation with more natural movement in cold water. Tom

I would give Z-Man Bat Wing a try because it’s soft and high floatation qualities. Never tried Z-Man because I use pork trailers. Tom

The reason I ask was working uphill from shore limits choices, boat doesn’t. My experience with Spots is they prefer cinnamon Browns and watermelon color soft plastics with chartreuse or orange tipped tails. 1/8 oz Drop Shot, size 1 mosquito hook, Jackall Flick Shake 4.8 worm watermelon candy with chartreuse tipped ends and camouflage with orange tipped ends, wacky rigged.
