  1. I almost see this his last season...Maybe he's going out with a bang.I sure hope so...i'm rooting for them.
  2. Kreature bait(anykind) on a 3/8 oz jig with a weedless guard.Throw it toward the current and let the current take your bait down. This was a very cool technique i learned early this year during spring.
  3. This year fishing was fun for me.I had a great time. Now i got all winter to stock up on one lure at a time.i can spend almost all day at a fishing store just looking around and walk out with only $20 of stuff.Might only be 2-3 lures and some hooks.Just make it a day and have fun...i love fishing as well as collecting a few lures to pass time just don't let it give you a headache then it's no fun.
  4. I have one...i haven't caught anything with them yet. They seem top have a nice tight little wiggle to them.Daiwa lures are a bit pricey but they have some very nice finishing on them.Check out the slender ones as well...but they cost as much as a lucky craft...so i pass that by today.I was looking for some sammys today but they don't seem to carry the 80's model. 65 is too small and 100's just seemed to big. I picked up some heddon zara spook, spit n' image(muddy's suggestion for a topwater) and a white /char. cavitron 1/8 oz spinnerbait which is a hot color for smallies here.I was shocked to find them at my new sportsman's warehouse today. Plus another pack of owner's hook 3/0 offset..i love owner's hooks. They are hiding in the car till tonight when my girl goes to bed... Then i play with them.....
  5. Ahh,well i do carry it seperate, but it's small enough to not really notice.I bring that everywhere i go with a small tackle bag for my hardbaits, knifes and ect, ect. You can put some holes on that binder with a rope of some kind and carry it around your neck(hands free). yeah the plastic lures you buy single just put them all in a small ziplock baggie..they'll be fine.
  6. I leave em' in the original bag then put them in this http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_37107_100011010_100000000_100011000_100-11-10 I can get about 2-3 bags in per zip lock bag.So that's around 20 ish bags in that.
  7. Jig trailer mainly for me.
  8. I did a Google search on them. There is quite an effort going on with electric fences in the water to keep these out of the Great Lakes. Seems they were imported for cleaning catfish ponds by midwest farmers and floods washed them into the rivers. These things grow upwards of 100lbs and will totally disrupt the eco systems of waterways they invade. There is a market for the fish as food and they are being fished by commercial fisherman here in the US. Indeed, there's a lot of information about these fish. From what i read and seen on video i don't want them where i'm fishing. We already have the common carps here which is enough for us.
  9. 6'6 MH would be my choice as well.
  10. yeah they are asian carps...they can ruin a good fishery fast.

I just want to try it... ;D And somebody asked how a LC compaired to a rapala,i can tell you right now...a LC will wiggle better in the water with you doing absolutely nothing,Rapala's don't.Some people might think that it makes all the difference in some conditions.

I've been looking at the megabass pop max myself...Can't come to bring myself to buy it just yet.
  14. Wow,i didn't know it could be set up days in advance.
  15. Most of the reels I buy are from Japanese Tackle shops. A good bit of them speak English very well. The Alphas Ito and the Steez came from eBay and I got smoking deals on both. Sometimes you got to watch for auctions ending at 4-5 in the morning. These are the one's that are easy pickings. I use a bid sniper tool and it bids in the last 2 sec of the auction, giving no time for someone to react. This makes some people mad bidding on the auctions but the way I see it, if they wanted it that bad they should have a higher bid price placed on the item. I have gotten quite a few hate mails from other bidders. I think it's funny. ;D The only way you can beat somebody like you is bidding the exact amount the reel is worth. I usually go after the buy it now ones...alot of them do offer good deals.
  16. yes my head hurts.....i have many things i want. Will i get them...probably not. :-? (tight budget)
  17. If you have free money to blow and fishing stuff makes you happy...go for it. Now if you drove yourself broke because of it..then it's a bad thing...sounding like this isn't the case though. If i had that kind of free money to blow i'm guilty to say i'd do the same you do.
  18. I'm getting into topwater next year...Looking at a bunch of buzzbaits, top water walk the dog type lures and poppers.
  19. I'm gonna agree with this one. I kinda took a long break when i was younger...3 years ago i rekindled my passion for fishing and now it's stronger than ever.I don't ever see myself taking a break anymore, afterall we have fishing seasons here...so that helps get me excited for next spring when bass seasons opens. It works out.
  20. Funny how that works....This applys to me.I have no best friends here except my family(my girl and little boy).I moved up here for her to be together.I have 2 best friends in TX i'd love to hang out for a day someday. Everybody i know here and in TX don't fish...so i'm somewhat lonely on my fishing trips.Doesn't really bother me much. I will admit though there are times i wish i knew somebody decent enough to hang around up here...it takes time for somebody to earn my trust,so i'm somewhat cautious about who i meet here.I've been screwed over 3 times here with people stealing from me.So my guard is kinda high now.

Look harder.. ;D yeah check out some japan stores online....the price tag on them are all around $5-$6 per jig.Haven't found one cheaper yet. I will be making my first order next week...
  22. It's all i ever want to fish on some days.Jigs are addicting to fish if you have some good luck with it like i do.
  23. Boy is he gonna be suck in the dog house for a long long time..... It's gonna take alot of this for her to not be mad again...
  24. I'm almost tempted to use natural's picture for my background on this computer... ;D the way he points at that fish is priceless..and his face expression just rocks...
