  1. For me it's pretty much done for...found that out today. Same thing happened as you described...take this how you want to,but it's gonna be a slow end.A lot of guys i know are calling it quits as they went out with a bang on their last trip.
  2. I'm about to call this season done for...I can't find anything anymore.Sure getting tired of coming out catching nothing. Now i'll be visiting a few tackle stores for the winter....baitmonkey is rubbing it in my face a little bit.
  3. If it's a small bream they are knick picking the end of the bait....usually feel like little machine gun bites. Bass usually inhale the lure with a good "thump".Otherwise my line just gets tight and starts swimming on it's own. I tried setting a hook on a dink today....bad idea...that lure came flying back at me.
  4. if i had a choice between gammy and owner..owner wins all the way.I've lost more fish on a gammy hook than i do on a owner hook.I honestly believe the owner hooks are sharper.

Now i really need to add that jig to my box....That dude barely set the hook....lol
  6. Fish porn ;D
  7. I agree with this...5 pounder bass is a real good size fish here..anything over is a lunker to many Michigan fishermens. We catch a 5 pounder here and we'll be doing a little dance...
  8. This is why i shaved my head.. :-? Plus i'm going bald...flat tops and a bald head just looks funny....
  9. There is a way you can get your money back from the item you tried to sell.Ebay will prosecute non payers.Might have to go through some trouble though...
  10. fourbizzle has spoken now watch the prices fall!
  11. shipping should be free.... I have a hard time buying a lucky craft lure for $13.... I'm waiting for a post from somebody saying these things suck... ;D
  12. 1-2 days a week, usually 2-5 hours when i'm out there. Usually it's on the weekend(sat and sun.) in the morning till afternoon. If there's a day off for me somewhere during my job,i'll try to sneak in a couple of hours there.I don't like being away from my family for too long, this is the only time i can really fish.
  13. Lowriding was a past time hobbie of mine...I had a 79' monte carlos with the wire wheels 4 12'' rockford speakers.Serious power drainage on the battery. Growing up with latinos and with the neighborhood being almost majority of hispanics....i grew up around this sort of thing.
  14. Took the words right out of my mouth...If they aren't hitting the bigger baits...downsizing just might get the job done.I found that out 2 weeks ago. Only problem is you will get ALOT of smaller fish as well. When you're after the bigger ones this might get tiresome fighting the littler ones off.
  15. Baitcasting i use the trilene XT 14# for mono. Hasn't failed me yet....
  16. It was a Zebco something....I don't remember anymore...
  17. I can't wait for my sportsman warehouse to open here....NOV 3rd is the grand opening....can anybody guess where i'll be? ;D
  18. Natural,is that just soft plastic bags in those boxes? Holy smokes....and i thought my 3 containers full was a lot.Now i can show my girl and feel better that i ain't that bad "yet".
  19. Raul covered it...i forgot to mention the DPV is a lower gear version. I'm looking to get a 100D after winter.
  20. bingo The 100's are a little smaller...just so you know
  21. Chicken noodle soup is like miracle medicine for me. When i get sick i'll eat that soup and anything with onion and garlic even raw....By the next day i'm fine.People are amazed how fast i get over being sick.
  22. Polarized sunglasses...being able to see what's going on with the water and being able to spot any structure(they are almost like X-rays eyes for me). Also saved my eyes once or twice from a flying lure.
  23. The way i look at it,you have to switch up or else you'll get bored of throwing the same thing over and over again. I've been throwing cranks lately...which i'm not used to doing. I want to get good at every lure out there.Next spring i'm gonna fish the buzz baits.I'm not ready for swimbaits...i don't have the rod to do it yet. I love learning new techniques.
  24. Went to buy one thing @ mejiers one day and walked into a sale they had going on with hardbaits....I walked out with probably 20+ crankbaits/jerkbaits all because they were half off.(most of them were gone already or i'd woulda brought more) Funny thing was i was suppose to just pick up some milk...... Never did tell my girl and waited till she went to bed to get em' out of my car to play with them. ;D
  25. My opinion it's all a big hype....I won't buy it till it becomes an reasonable price. If not i don't need it either way. The only way i might buy one if i had a few that night....
